That way you can see where everything is when you’re planning your travel itinerary. There’s a bunch of other useful information there about road safety and driving that we hope will be useful for visitors to New Zealand and help keep them safe while they’re here.
Our goal at roadtripnewzealand is to provide the best content on the web for people who are looking for New Zealand’s choicest little places. We don’t focus on places you hear about all the time like Queenstown, Auckland, Rotorua and Milford Sound, we’re more interested in the special little places that make us glad we live in New Zealand. It’s our personal view of our country, what we like and what we love and we hope to give visitors the inside running on the best places to see and the best things to do.
The excellent music is licensed from Alan Ferguson who wrote and performed it and is a total legend.

Hunting KINGFISH on the Flats!
My first trip this season to hunt Yellow Tail kingfish on the flats. They don't come easy and you have to put in the time and effort but when it all comes together, it's all completely worthwhile!

Flying the Hen & Chickens
I took my drone to the Hen & Chicken Islands for a bit of practice and loved the view!
We learned that the done is really fast, like 40 knots fast, and there are a lot more dolphins under there than you think. I hope you enjoy it...

Westhaven fishing adventure - Golden Bay
A fishing mission targeting Hapuka (Groper) out of Westhaven (Whanganui Inlet). A pretty remote part of New Zealand and very lucky to have such a flat day! An awesome day out and I managed to snag a couple on the jig.

Farewell Spit, Golden Bay - Collingwood | New Zealand | TheRebelCouple
We are sharing our travel videos while exploring beautiful New Zealand
We stayed in Collingwood and then drove to Farewell Spit 2nd Day which is just 20 KM away from Collingwood. Farewell Spit is a narrow sand spit at the northern end of the Golden Bay, South Island of New Zealand.
It was a wet day and we just started walking in the rain to get a glimpse of it. After some time, the Surya Devta (Sun) came out and we could go further. We reached the beautiful sand spit and enjoyed a lot with the birds and sand. While coming back we got lost and couldn't find our way back to the car park.
If you are planning to visit Farewell Spit, be ready to walk a lot, and enjoy.
