As everyone may be aware, there is a recent outbreak of 2019 nCOV: Wuhan chinese coronavirus. Officials report that it may be similar to the MERS(Middle Eastern Respiratory Syndrome) or SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome). There are now confirmed cases in other asian countries as well as in the United States.
The two things I am concerned about is how contagious and how lethal the virus infection is.
I have recently booked flights to go to Shanghai in March and really, hoping this will resolve, or otherwise will have to cancel the flight.
Wuhan is a city on the eastern front of china. The first case was reported to be linked to a local fish/meat market. It is nice to know that there are a few things everyone can do to reduce the spread of the virus infection that we don't know much about. Please share this video to let others know. All it takes is just a click
It has been approximately a month since the first case was reported in Wuhan city in China. Now it has spread to other asian countries and also the United States.
There is not yet official recommendation about restricting travel and trade - so we need to be on high alert to make sure our decisions are necessary (that the risks and benefits are well thought out)

World On Alert: more than 130 dead, some 6,000 cases of coronavirus confirmed in China
First new coronavirus case has been reported in the UAE today, which is the first in the Middle East.
As the number of cases keeps rising across the world... China has agreed to allow in international experts for help.
Choi Jeong-yoon has the details.
The new type of coronavirus that first appeared in Wuhan late last month continues to claim more victims.
As of Wednesday morning,... more than 130 people have died in China more than a hundred of them in Wuhan.
And the number of confirmed cases in China has soared to around 6-thousand.
Experts in China, however, say that the outbreak will likely get worse ...and spread at its fastest rate 7 to 10 days from now.
The World Health Organization, meanwhile, will send teams of international experts to China... to help with research and to contain the outbreak.
Chinese President Xi Jinping has expressed confidence that China will win the battle against what he called the demon virus.
The Chinese government puts the lives and health of the people at the top of all priorities. This time, I have been personally directing and deploying the epidemic prevention and containment work. As long as we strengthen our confidence, help each other, adopt scientific measures, and persist in precise policies, we will definitely win the battle against this outbreak.
The rest of the world is on edge too... as the virus breaches more national borders.
Cases have been confirmed now in at least 18 countries and territories outside mainland China, the latest of which is the United Arab Emirates.
The virus was found in someone who arrived in the country from Wuhan, marking the first confirmed case in the Middle East.
As for how the virus is spreading, Taiwan, in its latest updates, confirmed a secondary infection between husband and wife, the first known transmission between family members.
The infected wife had returned to Taiwan from Wuhan and was under quarantine at home, which it seems is how she gave the disease to her husband.
Japan's first confirmed patient a male bus driver in his 60s has never been to Wuhan himself, but he drove two groups of Chinese tourists from the city earlier this month.
Germany is up to at least 4 confirmed patients,... the first of whom a German man aged 33 did not visit China but was in a meeting with a Chinese woman... who later turned out to be infected.

For any copyright, please send me a message. The city where the deadly coronavirus broke out has been reduced to a 'ghost city' as China locked down 56 million people in a desperate attempt to tackle the virus. Eerie footage shows the streets of Wuhan abandoned amid the strict shut down as officials confirmed the death toll has now risen to 41. . The video, shot by an American woman yesterday, shows just a handful of people on the streets in the city of 11 million. It also shows a seemingly abandoned school and the inside of a small grocery store, which is still operating, before cutting to an empty shopping centre. The filmer is heard saying: We're definitely not at panic mode yet. She explains that the small store she's in is stocked as normal despite the lockdown, adding: But if the lockdown persists then we might have an issue in, say, two weeks. Later in the footage a parcel office is pictured closed with a sign explaining that they are closed until next month. Chinese authorities have imposed travel restrictions stopping citizens from leaving Wuhan and 10 other cities in an effort to control the outbreak. An estimated 56 million people are on lockdown in China to stop the coronavirus spreading, according to reports. Public transport has also been closed across 18 cities in the country. . . . . The virus has also been detected in Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Nepal, Malaysia, France, the United States and Australia. Health officials have teamed up with Border Force agents and airlines to try to track down 2,000 people who have recently flown into the UK from Wuhan. So far, tests on 14 people in the UK have come back negative. The Department of Health and Social Care have confirmed: There are currently no confirmed cases in the UK or of UK citizens abroad, and the risk to the public is low. The government is monitoring the situation closely and will continue to work with the World Health Organization (WHO) and international community.

ONLYGLASS MEDIAFACADE - Trailer 2011
ONLYGLASS MEDIAFACADE GMBH presents the first transparent and fully integrated faced high resolution LED mega screen. More information:
Media facades open up new possibilities for communication in urban space. With their dynamics they permanently alter the surfaces and therefore modify the character of a building at the same time. Media facades offer new, creative perspectives for architects and urban planners, for artists and advertisers.
Facade illumination has been a design element for a long time. However the future lies in media surrounding glass envelopes. The facade obtains a new function as a dynamic form for architecture and art but also as a communication tool for information and advertising. Urban concepts of the future will be characterised by media facades -- a mega trend.
The use of architecturally sophisticated or listed buildings for media façades often fails on technical constraints or monument conservation.
To date, media walls have been hung on façades with a high dead weight and only translucent to a small extent.
ONLYGLASS MEDIAFACADE is the future-oriented alternative: transparent and integrated into the glass facade.
With ONLYGLASS MEDIAFACADE we have created the direct link between glass and LED. A symbiosis of the aesthetic elegance of a glass facade and the almost unlimited possibility of communication externally.
-------
BREAKING NEWS: HEALTH EMERGENCY CRISIS CORONAVIRUS NOW SPREADING HUMAN TO HUMAN
ZERO-HEDGE.COM
THE SUN NEWS:
Coronavirus Deaths Double Overnight To 17, Suspected Case Identified In St. Petersburg Russia
It comes as British experts said up to 10,000 people could already be infected - adding that we can't rule out the possibility there could already be a case in the UK.
Professor Neil Ferguson, an expert at Imperial College London, said the new strain is currently as deadly as the Spanish flu epidemic.
The 1918 outbreak is the most severe pandemic in recent history, wiping out an estimated 50 million people across the world.
Prof Ferguson warned of more deaths to come as fellow experts said the outbreak has reached the threshold for an international public health emergency - ahead of today's World Health Organization meeting on the issue.
The agency could declare the virus a global health crisis today as its experts rallied to hold an emergency meeting in Geneva today.
'THOUSANDS COULD BE INFECTED'
Officials are considering putting Wuhan - a city of 11 million, a larger population than London - on lockdown, with people being told to stop travelling and to avoid crowds.
The '2019-nCoV' strain has spread to other countries and major cities including Beijing, Shanghai and southern Guangdong province.
Taiwan and the US were the latest countries to confirm a case of the lethal SARS-like virus - after Australian officials said a man tested amid fears he picked up the bug in China was clear.
The new strain has also hit South Korea, Japan, Thailand, Hong Kong, Macau with the World Health Organization predicting it will continue to cross international borders in the coming days.
It comes as Chinese officials confirmed 'novel coronavirus' - which causes pneumonia - can be passed from person to person.
Update 2: Just as we suspected, Chinese authorities have revised the death toll for the Wuhan coronavirus outbreak to 17 on Wednesday, meaning that in under 24 hours, the death toll has practically doubled.
Meanwhile, Russia media reports claim that a passenger from Shanghai has been hospitalized, a sign that the virus may now have spread to Russia.
PASSENGER FROM SHANGHAI HOSPITALIZED IN ST PETERSBURG, RUSSIA
NOVEL CRONAVIRUS DEATHS RISE TO 17 IN HUBEI PROVINCE:CHINA NEWS
Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador - better known as AMLO - said Wednesday morning that two cases of coronavirus are suspected in Mexico, and that health officials are scrambling to confirm. He added that one of the patients is under observation in Tamaulipas.
Update (2130ET): North Korea has temporarily closed its borders to foreign tourists, two major operators of tours to the isolated country said, in an apparent effort to seal itself off from a new virus causing global health worries.
Li Bin, vice head of China's National Health Commission, confirmed there are 550 confirmed coronavirus cases in this new outbreak and there have been 17 deaths. Some 1,394 patients are under medical observation.
Officials also confirmed Wuhan airport will have screening equipment (and Wuhan citizens have been asked to limit travel) and a nationwide monitoring system is being put in place (one wonders if the social credit score will go down if a citizen contracts the deadly disease).
Finally, the officials said that they will disclose information in a timely and public way and are doing their best to curb the spread of the disease. And all of this is happening as hundreds of millions prepare to travel for the New Year's celebrations.
“A wave of panic has struck,” said Zhuang Jiapeng, a fund manager at Shenzhen JM Capital Co.
Update (1920ET): Just like we saw during past outbreaks of disease in China, a panicked population has bought up face-masks at such a frantic rate that several of their unscrupulous countrymen have resorted to gouging.
American brand 3M, a popular manufacturer of facemasks in China, has already sold out on its official online stores on e-commerce platforms Taobao and JD.com .
Meanwhile, guards at the Wuhan airport pointed electronic thermometers at travelers, with plans to segregate anybody showing a fever, an early symptom of the virus.
Update (1600ET): Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Zhejiang, Henan, Chongqing, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Seoul, Tokyo, Brisbane, Taipei, Mexico, Russia, Macaw, Washington State US and is now spreading worldwide.
The viral pneumonia-like lung illness first discovered late last year in Wuhan, a mid-sized Chinese city in the center of the country, has Beijing's leadership - who are already grappling with slowing economic growth and continuing trade pressure from the US - very much on edge.
It has already confounded expectations. The fact that 139 cases - roughly half the total number reported - were only just identified over the weekend is especially unnerving, because now infected hosts have had time to scatter back to wherever they're from, potentially spreading the virus across the planet.
Restrictions on Chinese diplomats in the U.S.
The Trump administration has announced restrictions on Chinese diplomats in the United States, saying that they will have to give advance notice of any meetings with state, local and municipal officials, as well as at educational and research institutions. State Department officials said the move was an effort to add reciprocity to the way U.S. diplomats are treated in China.
