“Let’s go” has pretty much been our life’s motto since we met nearly 25 years ago. We met in New York, moved to San Diego together, and married in Lake Tahoe – all within five months. When you know, you know – you know what we mean?
Now, after raising two adventure-seeking boys, we are ready to get out and explore some more. Our children have begun their lives and now it’s time to begin the second-half of ours.
We wanted a challenge and something fun, so we are starting an adventure of a lifetime. We’re calling it #60×60. Our plan is to travel to 60 countries by the time Kim turns 60 (that’s in 6 years by the way).

Pristina/ Pristine (Kosovo) - Versión extendida / Extended Version
.
???????? Pristine: the capital of Kosovo is full of people and vitality. I thought I would find a quiet and relaxed place, but it’s just the opposite. There are many things to see: the National Library (with an architectural style imitating the Arab baths), the unfinished Church of Christ the Savior; the Newborn Monument (which changes its painting from time to time), the Palace of Youth and Sports; the beautiful Fatih Mosque and Cathedral of the Holy Mother Teresa of Calcutta. George Bush has dedicated an avenue, and Bill Clinton, in addition, his own monument (and his wife Hillary, a clothing store). It’s also interesting to visit the Kosovo museum to learn about archeology and war history.

The Newborn Monument (NEWBORN) is a typographic sculpture and tourist attraction in Pristina, Kosovo. It is located in front of the Palace of Youth and Sports, It was unveiled on 17 February 2008, the day that Kosovo formally declared its independence from Serbia. The monument consists of the English-language word Newborn in capital block letters, which were painted bright yellow when the sculpture was first revealed. The monument was later re-painted with the flags of the states that have recognized Kosovo. At the unveiling of the monument it was announced that it will be painted differently on the anniversary of Kosovo's independence movement day every year. The monument attracted the attention of international media reporting Kosovo's movement declaration of independence, and it was featured prominently on the front page of The New York Times.
