Newlands Forest is perfect for short and medium hiking trails and situated in Cape Town on the other side of Table Mountain. We love taking walks there and so does Cooper (Golden Retriever)
It's the first time we took a walk with Oliver in Newlands Forest (In a harness) Oliver is on 11 weeks old at this point.
Diana and I want to get out and explore more, having a baby is tough at most times and being out in Nature just seems to have a relaxing effect.

Things to do in Newlands | Cape Town's Greenest Neighbourhood
Cape Town Travel Guide is a new series we are started. That we are callings Whats in Newlands. our first suburb is Newlands. Newlands is a tranquil lush suburb on the eastern side of Table Mountain. Known as being the rainiest place in the Western Cape Newlands is the perfect home for the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. It also is the area that holds two of 3 of Cape Towns Stadiums, the cricket & rugby stadiums.... But there is a huge amount of accomodation in the area in the form of Guesthouses, AirBnBs & Hotels. Naturally there has got to be things to do for all these people... we had a look around to see what we could find.
We enjoued teaming up with Chris Botha from the Area to make this videdo. Be sure to watch the behind the scenes on his channel.

Decided to take a little trip through the beautiful hiking trail in Newlands Forest, situated in Cape Town, South Africa.

Newlands forest in Cape Town is an amazing place for walks in the forest. It's even better with Cooper our Golden retriever. With him there is always exciting, once again he managed to find a mud puddle. The only mud puddle along a 5km walk in Newlands Forest.

Walking in Newlands Forest (Cape Town)
We love walks in Newlands forest and so does Cooper our Golden Retriever. Peter and his puppy (Dog) joined us for a good walk. Newlands forest in Cape Town is an amazing place to take scenic walks in Nature and just to enjoy the outdoors. Oh yes, the dogs love it too.
