This video is the 1st of 3 in our Newtown videos. In it, we explore the stretch of King Street that goes from Newtown station towards Broadway. Newtown is one of the most hip and alternative neighbourhoods in Sydney, and one of the most fun as well! In this video you can find many recommendations for good food, drink and gift shopping. We take a look at Newtown nightlife, as we venture down King Street Newtown.
Newtown continues to be Sydney's most vibrant, creative, eclectic area with a diverse mix of art, music, food, fashion and people.
Newtown is overflowing with niche stores, restaurants, cafes, pubs, bars, theatres and music venues.
Friday night 11pm, we start at the north end of King Street (a few hundred metres from The University of Sydney) and head south down King Street to the centre intersection of King Street and Enmore Road, with a short walk up Enmore Road to The Enmore Theatre.

Newtown, a suburb of Sydney's inner west, is located approximately four kilometers south-west of the Sydney central business district, straddling the local government areas of the City of Sydney and Inner West Council in the state of New South Wales, Australia.
King Street is the main street of Newtown and center of commercial and entertainment activity. The street follows the spine of a long ridge that rises up near Sydney University and extends to the south, becoming the Princes Highway at its southern end.
Enmore Road branches off King Street towards the suburb of Enmore at Newtown Bridge, where the road passes over the railway line at Newtown Station. Enmore Road and King Street together comprise 9.1 kilometres of over 600 shopfronts. The main shopping strip of Newtown is the longest and most complete commercial precinct of the late Victorian and Federation period in Australia. King Street is often referred to as Eat Street in the media due to the large number of cafés, pubs and restaurants of various cultures. Cafés, restaurants and galleries can also be found in the streets surrounding King Street.

Visa Approved. Newtown the longest street of shops and restaurant in Sydney.
During my walk in Newtown i received an email containing my visa approval from the immigration. I can now stay and work for more years in Australia. Newtown is another suburbs of Sydney. I like it here with the feeling of being in the mall and in the street of southeast asia with so much interesting things to see.
