Video from a two day trip I took to Fukuoka, Japan in January 2007.
I was able to visit the Nexus Housing project (completed 1991) to see Steven Holl's Void/Hinged Space housing project and examine the details first hand.
I don't know how successful the project was commercially or how satisfied the residents were, but architecturally speaking, it was amazing. I can't recall any other modern commercial building that had that level of detail in its craftmanship.

Here's a quick 15 second animation we had to create for a particular building using Vray on Rhino, and AfterEffects for post processing.
