Ngare Ndare Forest Adventure

Situated on the periphery of the UNESCO World Heritage site, Ngare Ndare Forest, our camp is your base for forest adventure activities, including rock climbing, canyoning and mountain biking as well as acclimatizing for your mountain expeditions and hikes. Just 30km from Nanyuki town, with Mount Kenya to the south and surrounded by equatorial rain forest but very close to the Ethi village, Forest Camp is also the RVA Headquarters.

Hi #hopesquad and welcome back to my YouTube channel. I finally decided to stop making excuses for not traveling and grabbed my bag ready for adventure. I hope this video and the rest to come, inspire you to travel more, irregardless if you have a car or not. Travel where you can, try go to a new place every year even if it's somewhere close to home or somewhere far away.
Today we're traveling to Laikipia County. Laikipia County is one of the 47 counties of Kenya, located on the Equator in the former Rift Valley Province of the country. Laikipia is a cosmopolitan county and is county number 31. The county has two major urban centres: Nanyuki to the southeast, and Nyahururu to the southwest. Its capital is Rumuruti. 
I traveled to Nanyuki and had the pleasure of visiting The Cedar Mall. This mall has few eating places active currently including; KFC, JAVA and MISTER WOK Restaurant that specializes in Chinese food.

Ngare Ndare Canopy Walk

Part two of our ''mud'' fun is here.

Have you ever been so scared that your legs are jelly and you can hardly move? Well, this was Winnie for you as we took on the canopy walk in Ngare Ndare that is the only one in East Africa It is 40 feet high and 450 m long so its not for the faint at heart. She did the walk and by the end of it could actually do a cat walk on the mesh of wires.

VISITING OL JOGI RANCH, KENYA

Experiencing The Lion King movie in Real life - Honestly, I haven't watched the movie yet so i don't know what goes on, LOL


So guys, in the spirit of #TheLionKing movie and celebrating the #MagicalKenya , i decided to visit the beautiful OlJogi Wildlife conservancy ?Ol Jogi Reserve, I guess it’s called the ol Jogi ranch

it’s a 60 thousand acres of land private owned wildlife conservancy located in the Laikipia Plateau, Laikipia County, past a small town called Dol Dol


We spotted some white rhinos right at the entrance, A mother and a calf, Monkeys and some reticulated giraffes, ah and a photo i took of one was featured on the Ol jogi page on instaGram ????

This was my first time seeing a Rhino that close, for reals.

we then hiked the sandy landscapes which was caused by gully erosion as our guide said, so so beautiful, this was a lifetime experience for me.


also my first time being in close contact with Elephants, honestly. It was a beautiful beautiful day.

Then met Potap the bear, THE ONLY BEAR IN AFRICA,
he was donated from Moscow, Russia. our guide said he was as heavy as 500-700 kgs, i don’t know how that is possible but well he can go upto 890 kgs ...Loved him.

THIS TRIP WAS A LIFE CHANGING EXPERIENCE FOR ME IN SO MANY WAYS, I'm happy i took it.
