Scenic hike at Ngomakurira, Zimbabwe
This week I take you to Ngomakurira, a spectacular national monument in Zimbabwe. The name Ngomakurira means sounding drums, as it used to be used as a signal point back in the day. It's a granite hill with great views and amazing picnic spots! It takes about an hour and a half to complete the hike, but the views at the beacon are totally worth it!

Domborembudzi - The Mountain Of The Goats (2013)
Our easter pilgrimage to the great Domborembudzi. Characterised by its massive proportions, deep spiritual significance and general anonymity, this amazing formation is truly mind blowing. The film displays its sheer angles, abundant plant life and impressive views.
The local people have a deep and meaningful relationship with the rock. It provides ample bounties of wood and water. This is evident in the massive scarring present along the faces of the formation. The repeated journey of wood and water from the summit to the base has left a lasting impression.
Not surprisingly it has grown in its spiritual stature over the generations, something we felt whilst visiting the site.
Music By: Madala Kunene - Ubombo
Shot 100% on the GoPro Hero 2 & 3
We hope you enjoy the film, be sure to like it, share it and subscribe. For more info on Domborembudzi and a collection of photographs check us out at:
International Workers Day in Zimbabwe
As Zimbabwean workers join the rest of the world in commemorating International Workers Day they are also reflecting on their working conditions and other issues affecting them such as salaries...
This year's celebrations follow a doctors' strike and an impasse which saw nurses at public government hospitals approaching the High Court to seek nullification of the decision by the country's Vice-President Constantino Chiwenga to expel them from their jobs for participating in a labor strike.
The Zimbabwe congress of Trade Unions believes it is time for all workers in the country to unite and resist government efforts to suppress them.
