BEST BEACH IN VIETNAM - Nha Trang Beach & Walking Street

What’s the best beach in Vietnam? The beautiful Nha Trang Beach and walking street is definitely the most popular of the Vietnam beaches. We’ll show you around Nha Trang beach, Nha Trang walking street, and the popular Louisiane Brewhouse.

Nha Trang Vietnam is a 7km beach that is a huge tourist destination with both Vietnamese and Russian tourists. As one of the best beaches in Vietnam, Nha Trang is a highly developed beach town filled with bars, restaurants, nightlife, and white sand beaches. Surprisingly, for as busy as Nha Trang is, it’s beaches water is crystal clear and very clean. We were impressed!

Our first stop on Nha Trang beach was the Louisiane Brewhouse, a microbrewery in Vietnam. We rented 2 beachside lounge chairs for $3 total for the entire day! As far as Vietnam beaches go, Nha Trang has the appeal of a European beach destination with all of the amenities you could ever ask for. A lot of locals also take their vacation in Vietnam to Nha Trang beach as it’s only an hour flight away from Saigon. This makes Nha Trang one of the beaches near Saigon that is easiest to access.

We stopped back to our hotel only two blocks away from the Nha Trang Vietnam beach to take a quick dip in our infinity pool. The hotel we stayed at was called the Nagar Hotel and our room was $50 usd per night including a balcony and free breakfast each morning. We loved it!

Next stop was to walk the streets and explore the Nha Trang walking street. Basically, the entire three blocks in along the beach makes up all of the Nha Trang nightlife, restaurants, and bars in the area. As Nha Trang is the biggest beach in Vietnam, there is plenty to do once the sun sets. The area is quite the party town, popular among the Nha Trang Saigon tourist and Russian tourists alike.

If you have any Vietnam travel plans, make sure to add Nha Trang to your list if you are interested in experiencing a classic beach holiday. There are large resorts across the bay like the Vinpearl Nha Trang resort that are more suited for a quiet relaxing vacation than a beach party. Complete Guide about Nha Trang Vietnam. In depth information on things to do in nha trang. Popular Vietnam tourism places to Visit such as the famous Diep Son Island, Doc Lech beach. Lets go!

Trip details:
- 9 PM: the night before, I took the sleeper bus from Ho Chi Minh City Sai Gon to get to Vietnam Nha Trang at 4:30 AM. This cost about 250k per trip.
- 4:30 AM: I booked my hotel via Agoda the night before and I was told that they have the dorm room for check in luggage or to rest if you would like without charges. I really love this option that they provided. I booked for 350k per day.
- 5 AM: Walking distance about 5 mins to get to Nha Trang Beach and chill there until mornig
- 6 AM: I called to rent a motorbike to get around. It is about 120k per day and I visit the market for breakfast
- 6:30 AM: I ordered vegan rice roll and vegan sponge cake for 20k
Then I looked around at Nha Trang, it is recommended to book tours to visit those travel attractions because Nha Trang is an island system. Transportation mostly through boats and canoes. It will be much more expensive if you go by yourself. Booking tours will be a lots cheaper as they will pick you up at hotel, provide lunch, and have a tour guide. Highly recommended.
- 8 AM: the tour picked me up at my hotel. I decided to go to Diep Son and Doc Lech Tour.
-10 AM: We arrived at Van Gia port about an hour drive from Nha Trang, to take a canoe to get to Diep Son Island.
* Diep Son Island: is about 15 mins from the port. It has been very famous in the past 2 years due to having a walking paths between 3 islands. Due to the storm in 2018, the longest path between 2 islands are damaged and you can hardly see the full path anymore, but between the remaining 2 island, there is a smaller pathway 400m which is still available. You can ask to visit there.
- 12 PM: They served complementary meal which is 6 7 courses meal homemade. The island is absolutely amazing with clear green water. Lovely Lunch. After that we took off and go to Doc Let Beach.
- 1:30 PM: we are at Doc Let beach. One of the very best beach in Nha Trang. Clean and much less crowded compared to the beach right at City. I was a little overwhelmed when I was at the city beach because there are way too much people.
- 2 PM: We spent 1.5 hours playing at the beach. Order a cup of mango smoothie for 25k ($1.5)
- 4 PM: Head back to the hotel and end the tour which was 650k

Totalling nha trang travel : ~1065k

hi beautiful friends! welcome to part two of my vietnam travel series♡ in this vlog as we continue our journey through this diverse country, we flew into a beach side city called 'nha trang' from ho chi minh, and spent two nights here exploring this place with a relaxed atmosphere. as a group, we also went on a day boat cruise to the nearby islands, and it was truly a highlight of this trip. we swam all day, had a little party and it taught me so much about the importance of rest, play and not taking life too seriously! i'm endlessly grateful for these memories and to be able to bring you along too; i hope it inspires you to step out of your comfort zone and do new things often♡ stay tuned for part three! sending my love and light xxx

Description of Nha Trang:

Nha Trang, also known as the Riviera of the South China Sea, offers a six-kilometre stretch of beautiful coastline with white sandy beaches, clear waters with an abundance of marine life and thriving reefs, verdant mountain ranges at each end, as well as 19 untouched islets that are just a short boat ride away. Offering a myriad of sightseeing and recreational activities, the coastal town itself is steeped with breath-taking structures that date back to the Champa Kingdom, Buddhist temples, and gothic-style Catholic churches, as well as natural hot springs, salt fields, and unique waterfalls.

Five Cool Facts About Nha Trang:

1. The Nha Trang was only a small fishing village until the 1970s and the name “Nha Trang” is believed to originate from “Ya Trang”, meaning Reed River, in Cham language.

2. The Vinpearl Cable Car is the longest over-water cable car in the world (3320 meters). Remember to try it when you want to visit Vinpearl Land and prepare to be amazed by the feeling of floating and looking at the poetic landscape from the height of 60 meters.

3. The beautiful Nha Trang Bay was acknowledged by Travel & Leisure as one of 29 most beautiful bays in the world for two consecutive years.

4. The city is often called the scuba diving centre of Vietnam. Scuba diving and snorkeling were first introduced to Vietnam in Nha Trang.

5. Historically, the city was known as Kauthara under the Champa and you can still see the last remnants of that time in the form of the Po Nagar Tower of Champa in Nha Trang.

Things to do in Nha Trang - Yen Island , Vietnam Palawan

Wonder about what things to do in nha trang vietnam 2019 ? Many Nha Trang locals will recommend you to visit Yen Island as one of the most beautiful Nha Trang tourist attractions site.This is all you need to know about Yen Island Nha Trang . One of the hardest place to visit for non-vietnamese citizen.

I will share how you might be able to visit this amazing island and my tips of vietnam tourism places. Let's go!

1. Obtaining spot to visit Yen Island:
- I was asking the locals and they suggested me to visit the beautiful yen island.
- I contacted my travel agent that I booked the other trip , but they did not have any spot left.
- Everyday, there only 100 spots for yen island and technically, only allowed Vietnamese Citizens.
- Lucklily, my hotel Azura Hotel was about to get me 2 tickets for me and my friend for $25 each. Time to go!

Yen Island Trip details:
-7 AM: arrived at the Nha Trang Port. Waiting to be leaving for the yen island.
vietnam travel tips: Arrive a little early, 20 mins to get breakfast at the port. If you have motion sickness, I do not recommend to have heavy breakfast as the trip is 2 hours.
- 7:30 AM we actually took off. The tour guide will be explaining more about the history and some places to travel around Nha Trang islands system. Unfortunately, it will only be in Vietnamese.
- 9 :30 AM arrived at Yen island. will have 10 mins to rest and take some initial picture then will go by canoe to the yen's nest.
- 10 AM: at yen nest about 30 mins. The canoes have mirror bottom, you can look at the beautiful sea from the boat. quite interesting experience.
- 10:30 AM : back to yen's island. You can do whatever you want until lunch at 12
I chose to hike up the mountain to get the view of the island. It is amazing!!! Absolutely recommended for people looking to hiking vietnam nha trang.
-Noon: getting lunch. There are about 6 7 vietnamese food dishes again. Lovely and great value.
vietnam travel tips : they offer snails for $7. This is one of the thing that I wished I have tried.
- At 1:00 people might choose to go scuba diving in vietnam, but I passed on this because I need to fly my drones and I feel like I would not be able to make it. But if you do have time and do not carry too much camera gears, go for it!
- I then relax, play at the beach and order some Yen soup for $6.
Tips: Beach here is amazing, but they do have a lots of death corals and it makes walking quite painful. I discovered later on that you can get Aqua Socks and they really help your experience to the beach much better.
-2:30 PM we are heading back to Nha Trang. You will arrived back to Libra hotel about 5PM
