A Beautiful Day in Niagara (Canada) Series Part 1 - Niagara Parks - Botanical Gardens & School of Horticulture (May thru July). It was a beautiful Spring day for a walk through the Niagara Horticulture School Trial Gardens to see the Spring Blossoms and beautiful flower arrangements they put on every year. My wife and I enjoy going to visit them in the spring time. Video shot in May 2015.
We were glad to share a great day in our lives with everyone and
we hope you will come and visit Niagara and share in the beauty and abundance of activities, outdoor experiences, cuisine and entertainment that Niagara has to offer.

For over 70 years, visitors have come to discover paradise at this lush oasis, just a short walk south from Niagara Falls and Table Rock Centre. Collections of orchids, succulents, and other tropical plant species are on display throughout the year, along with floral shows that reflect the changing seasons. With seven shows per year, something new is always in bloom.

This section of the parkland is also the home to the Niagara Parks School of Horticulture, an institution that provides unique practical training to horticulture students on the grounds of the Botanical Gardens.”
This photo video shows the black squirrels that were seen throughout our journey in the Niagara Falls area in Canada.
“Large natural populations of black (eastern gray) squirrels can be found throughout Ontario and in several parts of Ohio, Maryland, Michigan, Houston, Indiana, Virginia, Washington, D.C., Iowa, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Pennsylvania.[7] Populations of gray squirrels in which the black subgroup is predominant can be found in these six areas as well as in smaller enclaves in Missouri, New Jersey, southern New York, Illinois and Connecticut.[8] and California.[9] Outside areas of North America where black squirrels occur naturally in abundance, there are several notable introduced populations of black squirrels:
In the United States, the city of Kent, Ohio developed a significant black squirrel population after ten were legally imported from Canada in February 1961 by Larry Woodell, the head groundskeeper at Kent State University. They have driven out native squirrels in many areas, though they peacefully coexist with most other rodent wildlife.”

Part 4 - Floral Showcase - May 2018
Today We take you to the Floral showcase at the best time of the year.. Spring time when the all of the Blossums are in full bloom. Visiting all of the beautiful cherry blossums in spring is one of my wife's and my favorite thing to do in Spring time.
For 2018: A new feature is that they have a miniature town and operating model train behind the indoor showcase.
Note: Shot on the GH5 in VLOG-L with Viltrox EF-M2 Speedbooster and Sigma 18-35mm f1.8. Also used a Tiffen 77mm Variable ND Filter.

Our annual trip to the beautiful Botanical Gardens in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada. We usually go in the summer time, but this year we decided to visit in the fall. Our favourite part is the vegetable garden, so much beauty and inspiration!

Niagara Parks Botanical Garden -1/ Jardin Botanique de Niagara Falls-1
Mid-May: early spring at the Garden. The tulips are out, and some leaves have developed in the trees in the past week.
This first part illustrates the formal gardens. The second part will show the Arboretum which is at its best at this time of the year with flowering trees and various foliage colors.
Mi-mai: le début du printemps au Jardin. Les tulipes sont en fleur, et les feuilles sont apparues sur certains arbres au cours de la dernière semaine.
