ISLAND HOPPING IN PARADISE!!!! | Coron, Philippines
Island hopping in the Philippines is always a must do for travellers passing through! We went on the local island tour in Coron. It cost 1,500 pesos each which was so worth it! Absolutely incredible!
Some of the stop we made were Kayangan Lake, Twin Lagoon, Siete Pecados, Malwawey Reef, Beach 91, CYC Beach and the skeleton wreck! We went with Calamian Islands tour and travel!

5 MOST ICONIC Spots You MUST SEE in Coron, Philippines
Coron, Philippines is right up there with El Nido as the most popular destination in Palawan - The absolute paradise of a province on the western side of the Philippines.
After a 5-day Trip with Tao, I only had 48 hours to explore the area, and I took up half of that time yesterday diving the Japanese war ships of wwii.
So, today, I set out to experience some of the most iconic attractions just off shore.
As far as boat tours go in Coron, there’s a ton of different operators and you can negotiate price right here at the market where the captain’s start each morning.
You can jump on a group tour starting at about $20 bucks; which usually includes food and snorkel gear - but I decided to rent a private boat to take my time and go where I wanted.
For this option, I negotiated a price of about $50 US dollars.
Our first goal for the day is to visit what’s said to be the cleanest and clearest lake in all of Asia - Kayangan Lake.
The next stop on our voyage is to another famous spot called the Twin Lagoons - Two absolutely breathtaking shallow saltwater lagoons that are connected by an underwater channel and narrow rock pathway.
One of the best aspects choosing the private tour is that when you get hungry, you can stop whenever and wherever you want.
Barracuda Lake, I’m told, is normally the least crowded of the three stops. Most groups skip this spot because to experience it’s true uniqueness, you really need to scuba dive.
It’s actually a brackish lake which means it’s a mix of salt and fresh water.
I’m told that until you reach about 14 meters down it’s a cool, clear freshwater and then after that it turns into a warm salt water.
Unfortunately, I was pressed for time, so I just explored the incredible underwater rock formations and met the little creatures who live here.
and despite the name, I didn’t spot any barracudas.
Back on dry land I rush up the 700 plus steps to Mt. Tapyas for sunset, and to get a nice view of town from above.
Maquinit Hot Springs is one of the very few saltwater hot springs in the world. it’s a 30-minute tricycle ride from the town proper of Coron along a rough, curvy road.
It’s said that the water gets heated by a volcano and springs up into the two-tiered pool all surrounded by a cool wooded area, dotted with picnic tables and some relaxing mood lighting.
The water’s pretty hot, so coming at night, when it’s a little cooler outside was a good choice.
I’m glad I’m able to sneak in last minute, and it was a great spot to finish a perfect day here in Coron, Philippines.

Island Hopping in HEAVEN | Palawan | Ep. 6
We take a private boat tour with Nice in Paradise Tours and go island hopping in the beautiful Coron, an island on the north tip of Palawan in the Philippines.
First up, we visit the infamous Kayangan Lake and swim in the crystal clear waters. Next we go to Barracuda Lake where we explore the maginificent underwater mountains and Hayley gets attacked by some shrimp. We then head to Twin Lagoon for a delicious Philippine lunch and a thrilling swim in the mixture of fresh and sea water in the lagoon. We end of the day at the stunning CYC beach where we enjoy the white sand and clear water before getting caught in a sandstorm and heading back to Coron Town.
This was definitely a highlight of our trip to Coron, and our favourite spot in Palawan.

4. TAYTAY- Floral Island: Your Dream Vacation on Your Own Private Island Paradise in Palawan?!
Yup, you read that right. I bet you didn’t know you could rent an entire island in the Philippines through Airbnb without breaking the bank.
And yes we’ve all had that dream of living on a private island away from everyone else. So why rent a fancy room on a 5-star island resort if you and your friends can own an entire island for the same price.
Luckily you can do just that with Floral Island, a Tropical paradise in Palawan surrounded by crystal clear waters and a coral reef unlike any other.

Sipalay Travel | HIDDEN PARADISE | Negros Occidendal Philippines Travel Guides
This week we travel to Sipalay. What an amazing place! Find all information down below :D
--FOLLOW--
►Facebook:
►Instagram:
--HOW TO GET TO SIPALAY--
Take the direct bus from Bacolod (about 5 hours) to Sipalay town. Or a minivan (p350). Minivan is a bit faster than the big bus, but since it might take a longer time to leave and you’re more cramped inside, I am not sure what the best option would be. I like the big bus better ;)
From Dumaguete: take a bus to Bayawan, Hinoba-an. It will cost you 6 to 7 hours. It will cost you just over 200 pesos with public transport (p120 + p75 + p35). If you hire a van it would be 5000 in total, which is not worth it if you are a solo traveler like me ;)
If you stay in Dauin, no need to go to the busstop in town. It’ll pass by the resort. Unless you want to be certain to be seated ;)
And it might seem complicated (as a foreigner) to go from bus to bus, but people are very helpful along the way and if you leave one bus, the next one will be already there! No worries. It’s just a day you lose on traveling. But it’s worth it ;)
--WHAT TO SEE IN SIPALAY--
I did two tours.
► One was to Danjugan island (next video).
► The other tour was a tour to the highlights of the main land.
p1000 for half a day or p1500 for a day trip. It’s a trycicle trip, so again, make friends and you’ll split the costs.
You need to pay entrance fees along the way (from 30 pesos to 80 pesos according to the place) and lunch is not included.
What I saw was 2 resorts (including perth resort, with the infinity pool) – the cave which is really cool! (100 pesos for the guide with light, I gave him 150 since it was quite a hike).
You can arrange this tour with Roland Dequina – rolandtours.wordpress.com or 09462014895
Tell him you found him through this video! Not because he’ll charge a fee for me ;) Just because it’s nice to know how people find out about you And I am curious for that as well!
I believe you can also get into a kano, more island hopping, archery…. There is a whole lot more to explore but I’ll leave that to you!
--WHERE TO SLEEP IN SIPALAY--
I would highly recommend Takatuka Lodge! Love the place! Inspired on Pippi Longstocking’s tale, with a lot of weird rooms all over the place. Different themes like the cave room, superstar, rockadilly, a castle… you name it ;) It’s seriously the best hotel I’ve been in in the Philippines (and I have been to a lot I love ;) – It’s so funky and unique, the owners and staff are friendly and helpful, the food is great, they attract friendly guests, the beach is just there. AMAZING! Seriously. Go here. GO! What are you waiting for? ;)
► Find Takatuka here:
--WHERE TO EAT IN SIPALAY--
Because I stayed on Sugar Beach, there’s not much options to get out for dinner. You can’t just leave and get back after dark I stayed at Takatuka mainly for food, and it’s good! Not cheap but a whole lot of variety, and great healthy stuff.

Heaven on Earth - Coron, PALAWAN ( Island Paradise in the PHILIPPINES)
Coron the province of Palawan, Philippines which comprise the eastern half of Busuanga Island. This place was magical. Would definitely go back again and recommend this place. Stayed here for 4 days and I couldnt get enough of it. My younger sis and I did the Coron Island Tour and the Ships & Wrecks Tour.
Recommended Places to eat: Lolo Nonoys (really cheap and delicious food) and Santino's Grill (make sure to try thei bomb ass baby back ribs.Yummmm) Wanted to do more food trips but breakfast and lunch was already provided for our trip.
1st day: Maquinit Hot Spring which is powered by a dormant volcano and did some souvenir shopping.
2nd day: Coron Island Tour through Nice and Paradise Tour guide. Mang Larry was hilarious. Super recommend him, he doesnt seem to run out of jokes. Haha
3rd day: Ships and Wrecks Tour (this place I recommend if you want to see a bunch of fish and corals when snorkeling)
4th day: Our flight back to MNL was at 12pm and the van was going to pick us up at 930am. So we woke up at 7am, had our breakfast. Got ready and did some more souvenir shopping. I liked the hotel we stayed at because it was walking distance to literally everything from restaurants, bars and souvenir shops. Only downside was its along the highway so it was loud and out of those 3 nights I was awaken by drunk people outside our hotel yelling at each other but other than that the hotel was ok. I mean we were only there to sleep because the whole day we were out.

Is This The Most Beautiful Place In The World? Coron Palawan Island Hopping Tours! Philippines
Is This The Most Beautiful Place In The World ?!
So, we headed to the Philippines for the second leg of our holiday and got a plane straight to Palawan, which is home to both El Nido and Coron, we chose to visit Coron! We did two private boat tours and also tried for a group island hopping tour which was a major major fail!!! We visited Twin Lagoon, Kayangan Lake, beach 91, coral garden, skeleton wreck and a few others :)
I'd definitely suggest doing a private boat tour rather than a groupd one because you can visit much quieter places and get them to yourself, set your own schedule and also have plenty of space on the boat!!!!
Coron, Philippines - Tropical Paradise
Over a four day weekend - I went to Coron, Philippines with three co-workers from Taiwan. It was definitely a weekend trip in a tropical paradise, full of: adventures, crazy experiences, tree houses, beaches & sunburns, and lots of swimming.
Some of the places seen in the video include:
- Coron Island, Kayangan Lake. This is a fresh water lake found on a small Island called Coron. This island is a protected park - so you stay on the island near Coron called Busuanga. Take a private boat from the Coron Town shore over to Coron Island and you'll find Kayangan Lake. Surrounded by the ocean, this little island with a few fresh water lakes is a crazy beautiful place with high, hard rock cliffs covered in lush trees. The fresh water lakes are cold and hot depending on the level of the water - and so clear to see the cool rock structures below.
- The second day we went diving with the dive company Reggae Dive Center. We did three dives in one day - first at a reef, total depth 18m. And then two ship wreck dives. Coron is famous for their large quantity of WWII Shipwrecks that are still close enough to service to dive too. There are over 8 sunken ships there, but we explored the ____ wreck (18m) and the __ wreck (16m). These wrecks were large and impressive - and so cool to go inside and sea a sunken boat broken by the war. The wrecks were awesome (especially ___ ) and I would 10/10 recommend Reggae Dive Center - very professional, awesome boat and people, and felt very safe.
- The third day we woke up early and rented a private Banca Boat to go explore the islands and beaches around Coron. I would recommend renting your own boat - only about $25 a person and you have all day to go where ever you'd like. We decided to stick to the beaches - and we explored three main beaches in one day.
- First we went to Malcapuya Island for a beautiful resort like beach with cabanas and crystal blue water. Out of the three this was the most busy, but for a good reason - so beautiful! If you had your own mask and snorkel you could also rent a Banca Boat to have you dragged out to the reefs near shore and see the sea life below.
- The second beach we went to was Banana Island. We got to this beach earlier than most other tours so we had the whole island/ beach practically to ourselves for a good 30 mins. This beach wasn't as large, but the exclusivity was great - and it had some cute hammocks around the beach under the shade of the trees. We also ate lunch here at a cute little table on the beach (lunch cooked on the banca boat by our crew).
- Last we went to a smaller island with a large sandbar and reef area, Bulog Dos Island. This island was so beautiful, and perfectly captured the Coron essence of rustic terrain next to beautiful coral and blue water. Here we waded in the waters and snorkeled, and even got to see a small shark, starfish, neon clams, lots of colorful fish, and a small stingray! Such a cool place to see.
- After getting back we hopped on some scooters and scooted up the Busuanga Island coast to our next Airbnb for the night - Sanctuary Tree house. The tree houses are further into the rustic and outbacks of this area (not as easy and convenient as right in Coron Town). However, if you've ever had a dream of sleeping in a jungle tree house, this is your dream come true! The tree houses are up in the green mountains with views of the ocean and great sunsets. There's a delicious kitchen and chef to make your meals, and amazing little pool, hammocks, and a fun community table to sit around and meet all the other guests. It's a small little paradise and nice escape from the busy town or wild adventures. We only came out here to stay one night - but could have easily enjoyed a few more days in this paradise. (while we were there we were also invited to a local Filipino wedding by one of the Tree House workers, which was a wild and interesting adventure and probably a once in a lifetime thing - so don't expect a wedding invite if you go.)
Overall - Coron is an adventure-ing dream with plenty to do and a little relaxation built in. A must see if you're planning to see Philippines.
CORON PALAWAN Yhen a nice paradise
