Antigua Travel Vlog: Huge Pizza Slice at St. John’s
Antigua Travel Vlog - Part Two! I went on a cooking class where all three courses were prepared with rum, explored St John's, ate an insane pizza slice at Big Banana, had our Caribbean choir performance and ended the trip with lots of dancing. I miss it already!

7 Things to do in Antigua & One Thing NOT to do!
We had a fantastic time recently on the Caribbean island of Antigua and discovered loads of great things to do there.
Set in aquamarine seas this corner of the Caribbean is more than just a fly and flop destination. You can have plenty of adventures, natural encounters and eat your way through lots of great tasting food. Oh and don't forget the omnipresent rum punches.
For a relatively small island it's packed with attractions and there was never a dull moment.
Here are 7 of the best things to do in Antigua and we've written more about them here Our favourite Antigua attractions include;
• Learning to cook with rum at Nicole's Table. Yes, at Nicole’s home we cooked with rum, drank rum and learnt the history of rum, and managed to stay sober – just.
• We whizzed a speedboat out on a seven-mile journey across the Caribbean sea with Antigua Reef Riders. Screaming with laughter and joy as our speedboat bounced across the waves.
• Partied the night away, dancing to the music of steel bands at Antigua’s most beautiful viewing point - Shirley Heights. Feasting on the best barbecue food, drinking even more rum and looking down on the divine English and Falmouth Harbours.
• We even learned to sing and performed a whole concert as part of the Caribbean Choir. You could too at Elite Island Resorts, where a top British vocal coach, Mike King, worked a minor miracle to turn us into half-decent singers – he might disagree. We have another video on this coming soon.

A Taste of Antigua
On a recent Caribbean cruise we had the good fortune to stop in ST John's Antigua. We took a tour called Taste of Local Antigua. One of the best tours I've taken. This video features highlights of our day. A visit to a cotton weaver, a pottery maker, a chance to learn about indigenous plants that have are said to even cure cancer and and a chance to sample the famous black pineapple. Lastly, we visited a few of the most beautiful beaches I've seen. We LOVE Antigua.

Antigua Travel Guide | Visiting During Antigua Sailing Week Video Transcript:
In today’s video, we’re taking you to a little island in the Caribbean: Antigua!
It had been a few years since we last travelled to the Caribbean, so to say we were excited was an understatement! AND because our visit also happened to coincide with Antigua Sailing Week, there was quite literally even more reason to celebrate.
So in this video we’re going to show you some fun things to do in Antigua and taking you along to some of Sailing Week related activities.
Antigua Sailing Week started back in 1968 when a group of friends decided to hold a regatta. Because quite a few in the group worked in the tourism industry, the objective of the regatta was to extend the winter season by getting people to stay on the island just a little bit longer. And well, today it’s become one of the biggest events of the year!
And because the Sailing Week celebrations were happening, we also got to enjoy Reggae in the Park featuring international artists.
It’s no secret that we love to eat, so we were very excited to learn how to prepare a few Caribbean dishes - all of them featuring rum.
And in between all the cooking, there was also time for a rum tasting, which was a pleasant surprise!
The meal turned out wonderful and we really enjoyed getting to share it with other travellers. We had seconds, thirds, and then it was time for a mouthwatering cake!
And last but least, we made some time to visit the capital of Antigua: St John’s.
Initially, our plan had been to try and find some Caribbean food in town, but everyone kept suggesting Big Banana, so that’s where we ended up.
And that’s a wrap for Antigua!
We hope you guys enjoyed exploring this Caribbean island with us, and be sure to let us know what island you’d like to see us explore next!
Wishing you happy travels and see you in the next video.
