A visit to the evening market in the bastide of Eymet in Dordogne. During the summer months, the market is held every tuesday evening and is mainly an art and crafts market with some food trucks and therefore seperate itself from all the other markets in the region.

[The most beautiful villages of France: Belvès]
Belvès is a charming medieval town and is listed as one of the most beautiful villages of France.
The name of the town comes from the words ‘belle vue’ which means ‘beautiful view’ in French. There are spectacular views over the Nauze valley.
I visited here at the end of July and wandered through the village following the walking tour on the map.
It took me through the main streets, small alleys and past churches and gardens.
You can also take a guided tour to visit the troglodyte dwellings from 800 years ago.
The tour takes about 45 minutes and you need to make a reservation.

These is a market every Saturday and in July & August there is a night market on Wednesdays.

Belvèsは中世の町並みが魅力的な村で、「フランスの最も美しい村」にも登録されています。
村の名前は‘belle vue’＝‘美しい眺め’を意味し、村からのNauze渓谷を見下ろす眺めはとても素晴らしいものです。
私がここを訪れた日は7月下旬。
村の観光案内所にて頂いた散策マップを参考に中世の町並みをのんびりと歩いてみました。
小さな路地にある美しい景色も見逃す事無く見れた散策になりました。
夏のお花もたくさん咲いていましたので、出来るだけ撮影しました♪
またこの村には、約800年前に造られた穴居人の居住施設を見学することができるツアーもあります。
約45分のガイド付きツアーで事前予約が必要になります。

この村のマルシェ（朝市）は毎週土曜日、7月と8月の毎週水曜日には夜のマーケットも行われます。

A trip to Monpezat
Microlight flight from near Perigueux to Monpezat near the river Lot. Managed to catch up with our friend Wim in the red Weedhopper after giving him a 13 minute head start.
Monpezat is probably the best microlight airfield in France with an airfield restaurant and on site accommodation. They are also a Rotax repair shop.

Dordogne travel France Part 3
Our time in the Dordogne at Les Gites De'lenclos was drawing to an end. We still needed to get ourselves some typical 'French travel shots' ie rustic bike with baguettes and flowers. Along the way we kept seeing the old deux cheveaux so when we spotted one outside the Cathedral Caves we didnt hesitate to drape ourselves over it and start clicking. With the French look, I went for some typical French music. This was the best I had on hand, its not too bad, at least it has the piano accordion. Notable villages are Domme, Saint Genies, St Cyprien, Beynac, Belves and Les Ezyies but still these are a drop in what is just the most incredible area. Medieval, historic stone villages and chateaux around every corner. So sorry to leave.
