This is arguably one of Austalia's biggest tourist attractions. Okay, I said arguably because it's definitely not but if you've never visited the Cairns Night Markets, you're in for a bloody treat!
Cairns has a huge tourism industry and the Night Markets are the top of the list when it comes to things to do in Cairns. Some people want to go to Paris to see the Eiffel Tower, others come to Cairns for the Night Markets.
Check out the video for a tour of the Night Markets. It's worth mentioning at this point that I didn't realise there was to be no filming or photography! Whoops!

The hustle and bustle of the market in the open air setting makes for an electrifying shopping experience.
Cairns, considered the gateway to Australia's Great Barrier Reef, is a city in tropical Far North Queensland. Its Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park tells the stories of indigenous Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with music and dance. Cairns Esplanade, lined with bars and restaurants, has a swimming lagoon. Northwest of the city, Daintree National Park spans mountainous rainforest, gorges and beaches.

Cairns Night Markets
The Cairns Night Markets are located on the Cairns Esplanade and are open from 4:30pm. There are many stalls selling souvenirs, indigenous crafts and clothing and there is also a food court with licensed restaurants. #shiawasetravels #cairns
