Crow God Izuna's Kagura Tsurugi-no-mai ocean version
That's the Ocean version of hiden ritual of IZUNA 's sword danse
In 1996, inside Sho grotto during his yakunichigyo retreat, (100 days) Yamabushi Kuban received 3 IZUNA Gongen's Kagura by Prince Takeru-no-Mikoto during dreams...
This is Tsurugi-no-mai (sacred danse of holy sword Kogarasumaru) where God Izuna shows his magic power for calling the 9 Dragon-Kings, & does allegiance to Lord Buddha.
This Kagura was performed in past during Mine-Iri / Buchu mountains pilgrimage practicing as part of Miyakagura.
Performed in front Emperor or at sumit of mountain to Buddha & Kami sama, it was keeping hiden during many years...
The mandala of the 9 dragons Kings is:
At East, in blue, from Gozanze Yasha Myô is the King -Dragon SHOTAI DAIJIN RYUU HOO
At South in red from Gundari Yasha Myô is SAKUTAI DAIJIN RYUU HOO
At West in white from Daiitoku Myô is BYAKUTAI DAIJIN RYUU HOO
At North in black from Kongo Yasha Myô is KOKUTAI DAIJIN RYUU HOO
At Center in yellow from Dainichi Daisho Fudo Myoo is HOOTAI DAIJIN RYUU HOO
Both of them have 84.000 warriors..
With those Great Dragon-king are the 4 from Earth/cave, Seas & lacke, mountains & Storms (sky) which protect the Kimon Gate with Kimon Daimyoojin...
Lost from Meiji period, Kûban is the only One now to be able to perform those.
Wearing Crow Nho mask, true Kogarasumaru sword, sacred mirror & Magatama neckless, God Izuna (crow-tengu protector of mount Togakushi) have the 3 Imperial Jewelies.. The ritual is performed inside Mother-Nature, or in front of the 9 King-Dragons mandala/Kakejuku to invocate their magical powers...
The chanting of this Kagura is a very old japanese song with traditional instrument using inside Nho theater.called JISEI.

Yama Sato - Altitude (Music Video)
In the fall of 2017 Trinity and I took a day trip to Montreal's Botanical Garden to get some shots for a documentary I was planning on making about her. This film was never created and this footage had no purpose for quite some time. While going back to watch the footage recently I was compelled by the mysterious and magical nature in some of the shots and wanted to create something out of it. The clip where Trinity lays on the floor - while a light flickers above her - was shot in NBS Studio and in the background of the recording I heard Angelo (yama sato) creating the song Altitude. I noticed how well the footage went with the song and that's essentially how I started this project. This was in September of 2017 and the song hasn't been released by him since. With that said this is a debut for both the song and the footage which could have so easily been stored away forever.

Touring the Mount Koya Graveyard (Unedited) *LONG*
Visited Mount Koya with a friend of mine.
Unedited footage from the GoPro of my walk through the Graveyard at Koya-San. 200,000+ graves. One of the biggest graveyards in Japan.
You can see a bit of my short attention span here as I hop quickly from one thing to another.
This one is LONG if you wanted a strange tour of sorts through the graveyard then this might be for you. If you just wanna see a few cool things then feel free to skip about.
Caution there could be some strong language I'm not 100% sure. Watch at your own risk. ;)

The Most Beautiful Places In Japan : Kyoto Budo Center (Butokuden) Part 2
The Most Beautiful Places In Japan : Kyoto Budocenter
The Kyoto Budo Center
Martial Arts is part of Japanese culture called Budo. The Kyoto is the oldest Budo center of Japan (1899).
It is a must visit for any martial artist. The people were really friendly. Even more friendly then people in daily life. That embraces the spirit of Budo.
Although there is a beautiful pamphlet and a training list of what martial arts are trained in the evening. It depends on the day what other activities there are.
Organizations rent the training halls for their activities. So if you are lucky you will see a great championship that day.
Unfortunately, I don’t speak fluently Japanese. People at the counter were very helpful but there is a language barrier. They will give you a list if you ask them. Google translate is always helpful in these kind of situations.
