Nigretta Falls
I visited Nigretta Falls after some flooding that happened in the area back in September 2016. Shot with my DJI drone shortly after I got it. I also have a book on all the waterfalls around Melbourne called 'Melbourne's Waterfalls - 314 waterfalls within 100km of Melbourne'. Available at telp.com.au.

In Hamilton Victoria there are two amazing waterfalls that we try to visit when we head up that way. The Wannon falls which I recently did a video of ( and also the Nigretta Falls. Nigretta Falls 1 meter from car park this is the best locals remember it been.3 weeks of heavy rain. this falls is only 10 kilometers from Hamilton even though the signs say it is in Grampians
Wannon Falls
Wannon Falls is a spectacular plunge waterfall located near Hamilton in Western Victoria, Australia. In September 2016 there was widespread flooding in the area resulting in the best flows this waterfall has seen in many years. Next to the falls is a free campground with a lookout platform signage, paths and a toilet block. The information board and every other reference I have seen declares the falls to be 30 metres high. I went to the trouble of measuring them with my Leica D8 laser distance measurer from three different locations and this declared the height to be 23 metres. Unfortunately there is a long history in this state of early approximate heights being considered factual measured heights by later generations with the result that there are numerous rival contenders for the highest, widest, largest etcetera waterfalls in Victoria most of which have no factual basis and have more to do with promotional bias than truth. In 2015 I released a trilogy of books called 'Melbourne's Waterfalls - 314 Waterfalls within 100km of Melbourne' which details every waterfall I could find within 100km of Melbourne ( a quest that took 8 years). Wannon Falls is not actually within this geographic area but is one of the finest waterfalls in Victoria.
