Nisargadhama River Or Forest || Coorg Karnataka India
Coorg is one of the most visited tourist places in Karnataka and the Nisargadhama Forest in Coorg rightly explains why. Recognised in 1989, it is a dazzling island with rich flora and fauna and a great getaway for those who want to escape from the ideal concrete jungle. It charms tourists with its lush greenery and an uncontaminated environment.
Formed by River Kaveri, it is a 64-acre nature spot which houses everything from a deer park to boat rides and more. The hanging bridge is one of the greatest attractions of the forest; worry not, because it is not the old shaky bridge anymore but a sturdy one built for the visitors to enjoy the scenic surroundings. Elephant rides and swimming will make your day complete. The forest also has guest houses run by the forest department, so you can spend a pleasurable and exciting a day or two in a tree house?
Located about 2 kilometres from Kushalnagar, this ecological park is a paradise for the young and old alike to celebrate nature. It is not too difficult to get to this serene beauty by road. It is about 5 hours by road from Bangalore and is a perfect destination to relax with Nature’s company and rejuvenate oneself.

Kaveri Nisargadhama Coorg Day Trip / Kaveri Nisargadhama Kushal nagara
Coorg which is also known as the Scotland of India, is a very beautiful destination which is about 127 kms from Mysore. We had day trip traveling from Mysore to Coorg. Coorg is also known as Madikeri or Kodagu or Mercara. There are good estate stay, home stay and resorts at Coorg and is a very cool place. We had our breakfast at Rothana Restaurant. It’s a nice place for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. We enjoyed some Kerala Porata and fish curry. You also get Poori Bhaaji, Dosa, Idilli, etc.
