My next stop was Free Range Brewing, where I tried another flight of amazing beers including the Cream of the Crop, the Modern IPA, the Farmhouse Cezanne, and the Coffee Brown.

And lastly, I visited the award-winning Divine Barrel Brewing, where I had five beers Here Wit Heart, Take Me For Granted, Son of Mr. Green Genes, Silk Sheets, and finally, Ice Cream Paint Job. They were all incredible!

JUICY North Carolina BBQ + Food & Drink TOUR of Dilworth | Charlotte, North Carolina
On my second and third nights in Charlotte, North Carolina, I embarked on an epic food and cocktail/wine tour of the historic Dilworth neighborhood, with stops at some of the area’s most notable restaurants. Come along with me!
My Film Making Kit ►
On my way to my first stop, I rode through the Dilworth neighborhood, much of which is on the National Register of Historic Places and boasts some stunning mansions.
My first official stop was Good Food on Montford, an acclaimed small-plate, tapas-style restaurant with a seasonally driven menu, where I tried their Garganelli pasta, steamed bun, Korean beef, Lumpia Shanghai, Prince Edward Island mussels, a beautiful Cabernet from California, a Bordeaux, and finally, a New York-style cheesecake with poached pears, tuaca, and mint for dessert. I loved this restaurant. Everything was out of this world!
Good Food on Montford:
I continued my food tour at Midwood Smokehouse, a barbecue joint that is strongly rooted in the traditions of the Carolinas and Texas. I started with a flight of five different bourbons before moving on to their delicious cornbread skillet, bacon-wrapped jalapeños, ribs, pulled pork, baked beans, their trademark juicy brisket, and much more. I certainly understand why they are the number one barbecue place in Charlotte!
Midwood Smokehouse:
Next up was Dot Dot Dot, an elegant, members-only speakeasy that offers small plates and outstanding cocktails. I tried the Burning Leaves, a delicious, fall-inspired cocktail that contains Del Maguey Vida mezcal, green chartreuse, fall syrup, and sour mix.
Dot Dot Dot:
I finished up my tour with some delicious wines at the Dilworth Tasting Room, a beautiful restaurant and wine bar that aims to replicate the feel of the Enotecas and wine bars of Europe. There, I tried some amazing German, Italian, Hungarian, Croatian, and Californian wines that blew my mind!
Dilworth Tasting Room:
I hope you liked this food and drink tour of Charlotte, North Carolina’s Dilworth neighborhood! If you did please give this video a thumbs up, leave a comment and subscribe to my channel for more awesome travel content!

TopGolf Midtown, SweetWater and Ale Sharpton - Episode 65 - 3/25/17
On a dark and stormy night, we headed out to TopGolf Midtown for the finals of their winter league.
As luck would have it, we were joined by Tucker Berta-Sarkisian and Brian Diggs Diggelmann from SweetWater Brewing, Gina Silva and Tyler Vigue from TopGolf, and the one and only Ale Sharpton!
Spring Beers were on the discussion list, and we talked about the change in season, and the transition from maltier, darker beers to hops and saisons.
Truck and Tap's Beers of the Week:
Lots of them. Ale shared some beers from his recent trip to Charlotte, including NoDa's Hop Cakes Double IPA. Plus, SweetWater's Wookie Down Imperial Red Ale, its newest Dank Tank Release. And 420, Jekyll's Hop Dang Diggity....and more!
Headlines (Sponsored by Your Pie Perimeter)
SB85 HAS PASSED! Finally, Georgia becomes the last state to allow direct sales for brewers and distillers in the state. What does that mean? Basically, we will no longer have to deal with the farce of buying a tour and getting free samples. Yes, that means that you can actually go to a brewery and order a pint of their beer. Amazing stuff on 2017. Looks like the rules will go into effect late summer or early fall of this year, so stay tuned.
One great announcement on the heels of this - Wild Heaven will open a second location on the Beltline.
