Juno Horizon & Nobbys Head Newcastle
Juno Horizon is a Japanese Bulk Carrier that entered Newcastle Harbour on the afternoon of Sunday 10th March 2019.
Nobbys Head originally called Coal Island has significant tunnelling which was completed during the 1850's using convict labour with the aim of destroying the island.
There are many memorials on the walk towards the breakwall as well as some artistic reliefs. The beaches nearby are also popular for kite surfing as well as bringing your dog for a swim.

Nobby's is a symbolic Newcastle landmark.
Originally called Coal Island, Nobby's is a headland on the south side entrance to Newcastle Harbour. It has a rich history, with the structure having been built in 1858 although the first burners had been operating since 1804.
The views from the lighthouse not only extend out to sea but also look into Newcastle Harbour, Newcastle City and Nobby's Beach and are breathtaking.
