Noel Darleen Neill was an American actress. She is known for playing Lois Lane in the film serials Superman and Atom Man vs. Superman , as well as the 1950s television series Adventures of Superman. She appeared in 80 films and television series in her career spanning 66 years.Following high school graduation in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Neill took up professional acting and modeling in the early 1940s before landing the role of Lois Lane. She later appeared in various productions of the Superman franchise. Frequently cast as the parent or another relative of the main character: Neill appeared in the 1978 Superman feature film, the 1980s TV series Superboy and the 2006 film Superman Returns.

Video Log - Road Trip to Metropolis, IL

Video clips from my road trip to Metropolis, Illinois. I saw the I-57 Abraham Lincoln, the World's Largest Cross in Effingham, the Super Museum, Superman Statue, and Americana Hollywood Museum in Metropolis. And, of course, a Major League Eating ice cream eating contest! And since we were so close to the border, we just had to cross into Kentucky and back!

2017 Superman Celebration- Are You Ready?

What started as a 1 day “Homecoming” for the local residents has now evolved into a 4-day celebration that attracts Superman Fans and families from around the world. 47 States and 6 different countries were represented at the 2016 Celebration. 2017 marks the 45th year that Metropolis, IL has been designated as the adopted “Home of Superman.” The Celebration this year will be dedicated to the memory of Noel Neill, who portrayed Lois Lane in the Adventures of Superman television series. Neill, was a repeat guest to the Superman Celebration for many years and was even given the title “First Lady of Metropolis” when a statue of her portraying Lois Lane was revealed in her honor. Neill passed away in July of 2016.
The Superman Celebration kicks off at 5PM on Thursday June 8th and runs through 2pm on Sunday June 11th. Many special events are planned for this year’s Celebration including musical entertainment, a carnival, Superman Celebrity Autograph and Q & A Sessions, and the Heroes & Villains Costume Contest. Also, planned for this year, is the return of the Hollywood Ball, in memory of Noel Neill.

I see this and others like it here all the time. I managed to grab my camera this time and catch some sort of crazy pulsating orb in the sky. I found a tripod, but the video is still a bit jumpy at times as I was trying to get a closer and longer look.

What do you think this is? Hateful threads will be deleted. I don't need trolls and skeptics going ape shit over this. I just want honest opinions.

THE LOVE OF #SUPERMAN

This is the first attempt at doing somewhat of a documentary-type video. It's about 55 minutes length. I wanted to find out from people why they come to Metropolis to the Superman Celebration. What is it about the town and the Celebration that keeps people coming to our small town once a year for four days?
I interviewed Matt Apps in 2007, the first year he came to the Celebration, for the Planet. This year was his third visit. He's become a friend and I told him I'd pick him up from the airport and he befriended Sefy Levy, from Israel and I gave them a ride to their hotels and began by interviewing them and then began asking other people their thoughts.
There were some sound and video issues during some of the interviews, my apologies!
