????????FALLING OUT of LOVE with MEXICO CITY? | DIGITAL NOMAD in MEXICO 2019
MEXICO CITY, MEXICO - Hola amigos! Ok, I left Mexico City some time ago and a bit of a break from YouTube. This explains why! When you've lived in a city as Digital Nomad for some time, it can become familiar, normal, boring, lonely and depressing. Do I do what everyone else does and put on a fake smile and pretend everything is fine? No, I don't!
It's quite clear, the problem wasn't Mexico City, the problem was me, something which I am currently working out. If you think working online and travelling full time as a Digital Nomad is always rosey, you would be mistaken!
I hope you understand the concept of the video -
- Black and white to colour
- Moody music to happy music
- Not mentioning any location I'm at
- The guy with the water walking away at the end!
It's called creativity amigos instead of just walking down the street talking!
MUSIC - (all Epidemic Sound)
British Indie 4 - Victor Olsson
Subway Dreams 3 - Niclas Gustavsson
Uplifting Sixstrings 10 - Orjan Karlsson

--~--
????????Many people who come to Mexico City for the first time tend to stay in La Condesa or Roma Norte, particularly short term tourists. If you're in Mexico City for longer either as a long term traveller or Digital Nomad (LIKE ME), you probably won't have the money to spend on expensive locations such as Condesa.
But it's not all about money. There are so many places to stay in Mexico City that are more affordable and for me, are the REAL Mexico City. The areas around Balderas and Ninos Heroes Metro Stations and Doctores (where I live) are pretty standard in many ways and sometimes seen as dangerous, but after months living in Mexico City, I see a side of the city that's real, full of locals, local food, graffiti, markets and great architecture, not pretentious coffee shops and restaurants.
I hope you understand the meaning behind this video. MEXICO CITY ROCKS!

SANTA FE, MEXICO CITY *Traduccion Español*| NO WAY is this MEXICO! | Things to DO in MEXICO CITY!
Please watch: ???????? Is HONG KONG SAFE for TOURISTS? | 2019 HONG KONG PROTESTS | MY EXPERIENCE (with subtitles)
--~--
????????SANTA FE, MEXICO CITY - Welcome to yet another area of Mexico City and a great addition to your list of Things to do in Mexico City!
Located approximately 11km to the west of the city, Santa Fe is the polar opposite and a complete contrast to the rest of the city - it’s a perfect example of the variety available in Mexico City.
Santa Fe is the newest area of the city in terms of development - the vast majority of construction has only occurred in the last 20 years or so. It’s built on former landfill sites which resulted in a lot of challenges. It’s home to the headquarters of many large Mexican companies from Volaris, the airline, Liverpool, the department store and Microsoft Mexico.
You’ll see a huge amount of ongoing construction in Sante Fe, from skyscrapers to elevated highways linking it to Mexico City itself.
There is no Metro station to Santa Fe. If you’re not driving, the best way is to get the bus. You can do this from two locations in Mexico City - catch the subway to either Balderas or Tacubaya, I did the latter. Once you’re there head right out of the station where you’ll see some green buses - just look on the Santa Fe sign in the front window. It only costs $7MXN and takes about 45 minutes. You can then jump off the bus over the road from Centro Santa Fe, the largest shopping mall in Mexico.
That’s right! The largest shopping all in Mexico! It’s 128000sq metres in size and is literally the size of a small town. You’ll find more regular shops like H&M & Zara to high end boutiques especially in Palacio de Hierro, from Gucci, Prada and more. But be careful! Taking photos and filming is strictly prohibited! Trust me!
Other than gawping at skyscrapers, Parque Mexicana has to be the number 1 place to go in Sante Fe. A huge park full of lakes, fountains, restaurants, skate parks and plenty to do for children, you could quite easily spend a whole day here.
Overall Santa Fe is an up and coming area and great if you enjoy shopping and relaxing in a park. It’ll be interesting to come back in 20 years and see how it’s changed!

Nomada, mobile library takes wisdom to poor neighbourhoods
A Mexican man is turning a popular transportation vehicle into a mobile library. Created by Rodrigo Vasquez and his organization “Bico Yubo,” the vehicle is called the “Nomad.”
Violence has forced many in parts of Mexico to limit their time outdoors and stay at home. In the southern city of Juchitán motorcycle taxis are the main means of transportation. They’re also used as a tool in committing crimes like assaults and robberies. But Rodrigo and a group of young, indigenous artists are using the vehicle to carry culture to remote communities. It’s the first of its kind in Latin America.
The Nomad travels to small cities and villages throughout Mexico carrying a collection of books, videos, and art. It visits kids at schools who lack access to a permanent library. It expands their horizons and provides entertainment while educating them. It also encourages kids to try and reach their potential.
For this week’s Game Changer meet Rodrigo Vasquez and take a ride on the Nomad.

Mexico Apartment Tour - What $500 Can Rent You In Mexico city ? ????????
Read below for more details. What $500 can rent you in Mexico city ? How much does it cost for us as foreigners to live in Mexico? We have always been doing long term traveling and normally rent apartment / accommodation in each city for at least one month, which is more cost-saving and cheaper compared to short term traveling. As we arrived in Mexico City, one of the main challenge while living/traveling here is to find cheap accommodation. We have been staying in Mexico City and this is a tour of our apartment, and then we also tell you in this video exactly our struggle we have been through searching for reasonable price apartment to rent here as well. We hope that you find this accommodation series in Mexico helpful.
In the video, you can also expect to see the comparison of 2 apartments we found on AirBnb : One of them cost about $380 USD and the other one ( which we stay ) cost about $580 USD.
☀︎☀︎ If you are interested to use AirBnb, you can save up to $40 on Airbnb using our link here : ( we get $20, while you save $40 on the accommodation you book no matter how long you stay )

Chapultepec Park is just another perfect example of how varied Mexico City is!

MEXICO CITY - Is it SAFE? | CDMX SUBWAY, Where to STAY & RESPONSIBILITY! **Traduccion en Español**

????????MEXICO CITY - IS IT SAFE? As a long term traveller and Digital Nomad, I've been spent approximatley 5 months of 2018 in Mexico, with most of this time spent in Mexico City. One question I am asked a lot is Is Mexico City safe?. My short answer to this, is YES.
In this video I talk about exactly why I believe Mexico City is perfectly safe for tourists, backpackers, long term travellers and Digital Nomads, from Transport in Mexico City, researching where to stay, Subway advice, using your common sense and taking responsibility for your possessions and actions.
What do you think? Let me know in the comments!

ECATEPEC | ESTADO DE MEXICO | MEXICO'S MOST DANGEROUS AREA? | TELEFERICO MEXICABLE
Please watch: ???????? Is HONG KONG SAFE for TOURISTS? | 2019 HONG KONG PROTESTS | MY EXPERIENCE (with subtitles)
--~--
????????Ecatepec in Estado de Mexico is often described as one of, if not the MOST DANGEROUS places in Mexico. In an effort to improve accesibility to Mexico City for the locals and to improve their safety, the TELEFERICO MEXICABLE ECATEPEC was introduced in 2016, a Cable Car system travelling for 3 miles through 7 stations from Santa Clara to La Canada.
If you're looking for Things to Do in Mexico City that is very much off the beaten track, you can head to Santa Clara Mexicable Station by catching the subway to Indios Verdes and getting a bus from there. Alternatively, as I did, you can walk from Ciudad Azteca, but be warned, this can be known as a dangerous area.

I provide useful information on Long Term Travel, Solo Travel, Digital Nomad Life, Things to Do, City Basics and finally to be a role model for anyone looking to pursue a similar life, devoid of society's expectations!
