Solo trip to Jaipur | Delhi to Jaipur | January 2019
I I went Jaipur City for exam purpose, I decided to explore the whole Jaipur city in one day. Delhi to Jaipur and Jaipur to Delhi I spent only 900 rupees including food also on this trip you know how? Sometimes I used hitchhiking and sometimes I used share taxi. Jaipur city is so beautiful and Jaipur peoples are very helpful. And Amber palace is extremely awesome.
I visited Amber palace, jaigarh, nahargarh and jal Mahal in only one day.
From Delhi to Jaipur and Jaipur to Delhi I booked online bus ticket who charged 250 rupees for one side. I booked ticket from zipgo travels.
You should must visit Jaipur city. I never feel I was alone in that unknown City because of Jaipur people are very cool and very helpful and saying again they are very helpful.

In 2013, I had the wonderful opportunity to travel to India for 3 weeks with some members of my dance troupe (Bollywood Movez, Portland OR). Here are pictures and video clips from the third and final leg of the trip, where we visit fascinating historical landmarks, ride elephants, pose with lots of cute animals, watch girls dance with flaming pots on their heads, check out some enormous scientific instruments, and lots more!

BBC's Great Indian Railway Journeys from Amritsar to Shimla Part1 of 4
BBC Great Indian Railway Journeys
Part 1 of Part 4
1) Amritsar to Shimla
Beginning in the Sikh holy city, Michael is dazzled by the beauty of the Golden Temple and awed by the scale of its langar - the world's largest free kitchen. His route then takes him through the Punjab, India's breadbasket. Michael samples traditional chapattis, has a colourful kurta made up in one of the Punjab's biggest cloth markets, and can't resist the foot-tapping rhythms of Punjabi bhangra dancing, made famous by Bollywood. At Kalka, Michael glimpses the Himalayas for the first time and joins the 1906-built mountain railway for a stunning climb to Shimla.

RAJASTHAN | Visiting the Pink, Blue and Golden City of India | JAIPUR, JODHPUR and JAISALMER
'Land of the Kings', Rajasthan is vibrant with its colors, forts, people and culture. We visited the largest state of India in December,17. It was a lovely experience worth sharing. We started from the pink city Jaipur visiting Nahargarh Fort, Jal Mahal and Hawa Mahal on the first day. The second day was for the Amer and Jaigarh Fort. The ambience at Amer was unreal especially when the entire fort glows in the morning sunshine.
Our next stop was Jaisalmer- the golden city of India. Sonar Kella- the golden fort is a living fort there. An entire colony surprises you when you enter inside the fort. Each and every building there is made of golden stones. The same day we went to Sam Dunes for watching the sunset from the Thar desert. There were arrangements of cultural show in the evening and night stay at tents.
Next morning we took a car and went west into the Thar desert at Tanot Mata temple and Longewala battlefield famous for the engagements happened in the 1971 Indo-Pak war.
Our last destination was the blue city Jodhpur. Mehrangarh fort is the main attraction there.

Jaisalmer City Guide, Jaisalmer City Travel Guide, Jaisalmer City Travel
Jaisalmer city guide, Jaisalmer City Travel Guide, Jaisalmer City Travel video is all about Jaisalmer City in Rajasthan, India, and its surrounding areas that are worth visiting. Jaisalmer is well described as Golden City owing to the yellow sand stone used in constructions of the fort and the buildings inside and outside the fort. Jaisalmer fort is the main attraction for a tourist visiting Jaisalmer besides other places that are worth visiting located nearby Jaisalmer. When in Jaisalmer one can dream of being at Alladins dream world.
Jaisalmer fort is a living fort where approximately 8000 people live inside. Visiting fort is a unique experience to walk through the narrow streets and watch the daily life of people living inside the fort. There is more inside the fort to see such as Haveli's, King and Queens fort, Jain Temples, miniature Art, Artefacts, colourful dresses, traditional Rajasthani Paghadi (Head Gear), Chatris. As a memoir one must purchase T Shirts that showcasing a Rajasthani man with moustache and paghadi & camel.
For Architect lovers this fort is a paradise as one can see the intricate workmanship made out of red stones.
It is worth exploring outside of Jaisalmer where you can see Bada Bag (Big Garden). There are cenotaphs for the Rulers, princes and other family members of the rulers in their memory to be remembered for the rest of life.
Gadisar Lake - It was constructed in 14th century by King MahaRawal Gadsi Singh during water shortage for Jaisalmer to provide drinking water to Jaisalmer. It has now become a top tourist attraction.
Sam Sand Dunes where one can enjoy camel ride, Jeep safari and the sunset.
Kuldhara Village-Deserted village near Jaisalmer wherein the entire community vanished overnight. There is a story behind this deserted village and one must go to see and read its history.
Little further towards the Indo Pak border a visit to Longewala post where 1971 war between India Pakistan was fought. With merely a 120 soldiers of Punjab Regiment fought the strong 2000 Pakistani soldiers and the Pakistani soldiers had to flee leaving behind their 38 tanks and trucks in which they came to defeat and capture certain parts of India. The tanks and the trucks are displayed at the Longewala Post and the Longewala museum. More history on the 1971 Indo Pak war can be seen at the Longewala museum near Jaisalmer.
Photographers and Videographers must visit Jaisalmer and the surrounding areas to add to their collection.
Rajasthani food is unique and different compared to other Indian food. The world famous Dal Batti of Rajasthan is a must to taste when in Jaisalmer or other parts of Rajasthan.
The best time to visit Jaisalmer is between August and February but it can work out expensive during this periods owing to heavy tourist rush. During Diwali time it can become too much busy by the local Indian people who tend to visit with their family.
