This series is a bit of our effort to capture Japan, show you and make you all experience Japan especially those who have not been to this beautiful country.
In this video we take you to a Landmark Garden in Nagoya, Japan.
Noritake is a leading company in the Japanese ceramics industry for over 100 years, based in Nagoya.
The garden was constructed on the former factory grounds and exhibits the company, its history and products. In the various showrooms visitors can observe the creation process of porcelain or participate in workshops.
The museum exhibits old Noritake pieces, such as vases, jars and dishes from the early 1900s. Also current products are shown. The garden also has several stores and a few restaurants for the visitors.

Noritake is a well-known tablewre brand in Nagoya city. You can see not only displayed Noritake's products but also robot dinosaurs here. It's kind of like Jurassic Park.

Noritake is a top company in the ceramics industry which has a history of more than 100 years. The Noritake Garden (Noritake no Mori) was established on the grounds of company's former factory and introduces the company and its products while offering a recreational space in the central area of Nagoya.
In the Craft Center, visitors can observe the delicate process of creating porcelain, or experience it in a workshop. There is also a museum that exhibits exceptional, old Noritake pieces, such as jars, vases and dishes from the early 1900s.
In the Welcome Center's Celabo Showroom, you can take a look at the multiple ceramics products produced by Noritake today, which include tableware, as well as diverse industrial products, electronics and cutting edge technologies.
There are several stores and a few restaurants located within the Noritake Garden.

15 minute walk north of Nagoya Station
There is also the Meguru loop bus line available for tourists (12 minutes, 200 yen).

This is a nice place BUT... if you get hungry, note that many of the food places are closer to Nagoya Station. This is a bit ways north. So plan accordingly.

Die erste Station am frühen Morgen de 19.02. während meiner Tour durch Nagoya. Der Noritake Garden sollte sich als eher enttäuschendes Erlebnis darstellen, was aber auch der Jahres & Tageszeit geschuldet sein kann.
Der Park ist errichtet auf dem Gelände einer ehemaligen Fabrik und soll als Vorbild für Ökologie / Natur-Projekte dienen.
