Norman Bay at Wilsons Promontory, Victoris Australia is the main open ocean beach east of Tidal River Camp Grounds and can be accessed from a variety of points along the main car park and easily from Tidal River itself. It is close to Tidal River campground, the beautiful Norman Beach is flanked by Pillar Point in the north and Norman Point in the south and offers stunning views of Mount Oberon.

We had the day off so we went camping for a night at Wilsons Promontory National Park in Victoria, Australia. In this video, you will see the famous Squeaky Beach (where you can literally hear the sand squeak when you drag your feet) and the beautiful Norman Beach in Victoria, Australia. We were lucky enough that the rain stopped after lunch so we managed to get some shots before we drove home the next night. Welcome to my channel! :)

Pantai ke-dua yang gw kunjungin kali ini dalam pertualangan di Wilsons Promontory atau biasa disingkat Wilsons Prom., ga kalah unik dengan Squeaky Beach di video gw sebelumnya.

Norman Beach ini punya hilir sungai dari Tidal River. Hilir atau hulu sih yang bener? Rasanya terakhir pake kata ini waktu SD disuruh belajar bikin kalimat. Jadi mohon mangap ya kalo salah.

Datang pada waktu badai, pulang malah makin deras. Dari hujan air sampe hujan es. Gw merasa beruntung di video ini karena gw berusaha melawan ketidak-nyamanan. Berusaha balik lagi ke pantai setelah berpikir untuk mengakhiri pertualangan.
Sambil bujuk anak paling gede yang waktu di awal video, dia milih nge-tem di mobil sambil nonton youtube.
Cuma modal nunjukin video badai, doi langsung mau, bahkan buru2 keluar mobil mau liat.
Alhasil kami bisa explore lebih jauh ke sungai Tidal dan goa kecil. And... The most amazing one, rainbow after rain. Feels great...

Day 1
– Depart Melbourne CBD and leave for Wilsons Promontory.
-- Big Drift Sand Dunes
– Tidal River Camp Ground and set up tents
– Squeaky Beach
-- Pillar Point Lookout which provides incredible views over both Squeaky Beach and Norman Bay.
Day 2
– Mt Oberon Summit Walk. It is a 3.5km uphill walk up to the summit, however, the view is one of the best in Victoria.
– Norman Bay
-- Depart for Melbourne.

These are all a must do when visiting the Prom Country plus tidal river which is at Norman beach which I unfortunately forgot to take footage of. I highly recommended at least doing one of the walks featured in the video such as Mt Oberon(hard) or Pillar Point(easy).

The Wilsons Promontory National Park, commonly known as Wilsons Prom or The Prom,[citation needed] is a national park in the Gippsland region of Victoria, Australia, located approximately 157 kilometres (98 mi) southeast of Melbourne.
The 50,500-hectare (125,000-acre) national park is the southernmost national park on mainland Australia, known for its beautiful rainforests, unspoiled beaches, and abundant wildlife. The national park covers the southern portion of Wilsons Promontory, a peninsula containing South Point, the southernmost point on the Australian mainland. A lighthouse on the south-east corner of the peninsula is the southern-most lighthouse on mainland Australia and has operated continuously since 1859.
A large section of the park was burnt out in April 2005 by a bushfire caused by a controlled burn that breached containment lines because of warmer and windier conditions than were forecast for that day, causing the evacuation of six-hundred people.
