This island blew every expectation out of the water. Go visit this place!

Transatlantic sailing to Fernando De Noronha, Brazil. Dolphins everywhere!
Ep200. In this episode of Cruising Off Duty, we continue our Transatlantic sailing voyage on the 50' (Xquisite X5) Catamaran. We arrive at the Brazilian Island of Fernando De Noronha after a 12-day sailing passage. We explore the beautiful Island and see more Dolphins around our boat than we can even count. We lose Steve, our most experienced Catamaran sailor but gain a new crew member in Valentine that has sailed the route from Cape Town South Africa to the Caribbean 30 times as a delivery captain. So he has a ton of experience to share with us in the rest of our Voyage.

What is the most exotic island in all of Brazil? You know, something with with sand beaches, crystal clear waters, dolphins, turtles, and of course awesome bars? We asked this question a lot and the reply from most people was “Man, you gotta check out Fernando de Noronha!” So we decided to sail there and check it out for ourselves. It’s our last stop in Brazil before setting sail for French Guyana, and we experienced all the island had to offer.

For 8 days, we were able to film one of the most beautiful places that a scuba diver can explore. With the perfect dive operation of Atlantis Divers ( we dove with sharks, rays, giant turtles, huge fishes and, fortunately, curious dolphins.
Durante 8 dias, pudemos registrar um dos lugares mais incríveis que um mergulhador pode visitar. Com a operação impecável da Atlantis Divers ( fizemos mergulhos inesquecíveis, com direito a tubarões, raias, tartarugas gigantes, meros e, por sorte, golfinhos.

FISHING BRAZIL - Part 1 - Wahoo, Tuna and barracuda on Fernando De Noronha Island.
In this video we explore the waters of Fernando De Noronha aboard the epic vessel Shark Attack. Fernando De Noronha is an archipelago of 21 islands and islets in the Atlantic Ocean, 354 km off the North East coast of Brazil. We had some amazing days fishing and diving our way around the Island. Wahoo and Tuna were thick but the Barracuda gave us a hard time. We had Dolphin fish eaten in half by giant barracuda. Thanks to the inline underwater camera's we were able to capture some exciting action and get a feel for what was really going on down there.
