Copenhagen video is finally LIVE! Sterling, Saraha and I traveled to Copenhagen and we can confidently say it has by far been one of the best places we have traveled in Europe! Here's what we did:
1. Ørstedsparken. Sterling and I grabbed a coffee at the Next Door Cafe then headed to the park to sit and enjoy it! This was one of the most beautiful parks we had both ever visited.
2.Torvehallerne. Again, probably one of the most beautiful markets we had ever been to. That being said, it was quite pricy. Instead of purchasing a meal we opted for some delicious passionfruit ice cream.
3. Episode Thrift Store. Holy crap this was a stacked thrift store! I feel like they had multiples of everything. SO if you are looking for something specific go check this out because odds are they will have it! This is where I purchased my fanny pack. I believe I got it for 10 euros. Not the cheapest, but not too overpriced. I kinda thought of it as a souvenir.
4. Trampolines. Just search trampolines on a map of Copenhagen and it should pop up. We found them on our walk to Nyhavn.
5. Nyhavn. This was one of my favorite things we did in Copenhagen and it was so simple and easy. All we did was grab some groceries and beer from the store, made some sandwiches, packed it and took it with us to go see the beautiful houses around Nyhavn. When we arrived we happened to stumble upon this bench. We quickly snagged it and enjoyed our meal with the best view!
6. Brødflov. This little cafe was located on the corner of where we stayed. Oh man, the pastries were out of this world. I'd recommend trying as many as you can. I think my favorite was the poppyseed pastry.
7. Hillsong. We had also visited Hillsong Berlin so we wanted to check out Hillsong in Copenhagen. It was awesome and they were so welcoming to us!
8. Inderhavnsbroen. If you go across the bridge, (at least in summer) you will find an area filled with food trucks. We got rosemary potato pizzas. THEY WERE SO GOOD!!
9. Pizzeria Luca. Yes, this was technically a restaurant, however, we just ended up ordering some cocktails. The passionfruit were the best!!
10. Grød. We recommend the acai bowl!
11. The Little Mermaid. We hopped on rental bikes and went to see the little mermaid statue!
12. The Donkey Republic. We got the 15 euros per month membership. This way we could rent unlimited number of bikes for an hour and ride anywhere. So worth it!
13. The North Atlantic House. We didn't actually go inside the house. There were a bunch of people swimming and hanging out around the water, so I decided to jump in too.
14. Next Door Cafe. We found the most reasonably priced and good coffee here!
Thanks for watching! Let me know what you think. :)

The Faroe Islands
Recorded September 3, 2008.
The Faroe Islands are an island group situated between the Norwegian Sea and the North Atlantic Ocean, approximately half way between Scotland and Iceland. The Faroe Islands have been an autonomous province of Denmark since 1948. The Faroese have, over the years, taken control of most matters except defense, foreign affairs and law, which remain the responsibility of Denmark. The Faroes have close traditional ties to Iceland, Norway, Shetland, Orkney, the Outer Hebrides and Greenland.
This video begins as we sail into the Tórshavn harbour on the Sea Princess. After disembarking the ship on a rainy day I take a tour of the islands. During the tour we stop at the village of Leynar where there is a picturesque waterfall and fish ladder. Next we drive through the under sea tunnel to the island of Vágar and visit the village of Sandavágur. There we visit a beautiful red-roofed church. Next we drive back to the island of Streymoy where we get a nice view of the capital city of Tórshavn from a hill outside of town. The video concludes as we sail away from the islands on the Sea Princess.

A beautiful day in Torshavn, the capital of the Faroe Islands
The Faroe Islands (/ˈfɛəroʊ/; Faroese: Føroyar, pronounced [ˈfœɹjaɹ]; Danish: Færøerne, pronounced [ˈfæɐ̯øːˀɐnə]), or the Faeroe Islands, is a North Atlantic archipelago located 320 kilometres (200 mi) north-northwest of Scotland, and about halfway between Norway and Iceland. It is an autonomous territory[8] within the Kingdom of Denmark. The islands have a total area of about 1,400 square kilometres (540 sq mi) with a population of 51,783 as of June 2019.[3]
The terrain is rugged; the climate is subpolar oceanic climate (Cfc)—windy, wet, cloudy, and cool. Temperatures average above freezing throughout the year because of the Gulf Stream. As a result of the moderation and the northerly latitude, summers normally hover around 12 °C (54 °F). Average temperatures are 5 °C (41 °F) in winter.[9] The northerly latitude also results in perpetual civil twilight during summer nights and very short winter days.
Between 1035 and 1814 the Faroes were part of the Kingdom of Norway, which was in a personal union with Denmark from 1450. In 1814 the Treaty of Kiel transferred Norway to the king of Sweden, on the winning side of the Napoleonic wars, whereas the king of Denmark, on the losing side, retained the Faroes, along with the two other historical Norwegian island possessions in the North Atlantic: Greenland and Iceland. The Faroe Islands have been a self-governing part of the Kingdom of Denmark since 1948.[10]
The Faroese control most of their domestic affairs. Those that remain the responsibility of Denmark include military defence, policing and the justice department, currency, and foreign affairs.[11] However, as they are not part of the same customs area as Denmark, the Faroe Islands have an independent trade policy and can establish trade agreements with other states. The islands also have representation in the Nordic Council as members of the Danish delegation. The Faroe Islands have their own national teams competing in certain sports.

Introducing ????????Denmark [The Atlantic Community Series - NATO Documentaries, 1956]
Presentation of Denmark's history and contribution to Western defense and the Atlantic Community.
Introducing Denmark is part of a series originally designed as Know your Allies, and finally titled the Atlantic Community Series.
Its objectives were to familiarize public opinion in each of the member country with the other Alliance members and to emphasize the national contributions to Western culture and political traditions, economic reconstruction and allied defense in the framework of NATO.
The series was produced between 1954 and 1956 and financed by the US government in the context of the Marshall Plan with the cooperation of the Information Service of NATO, and distributed by NATO. The films in the Atlantic Community Series received large non-theatrical distribution and, in some cases, were shown in cinemas and on TV. Language versions were made and distributed with the help of the national governments.

Welcome to Faroe Islands
The Faroe Islands or Faeroe Islands or simply Faroes or Faeroes (Faroese: Føroyar, meaning Sheep Islands, Danish: Færøerne) are a group of islands in Northern Europe, between the Norwegian Sea and the North Atlantic Ocean, about halfway from Iceland to Norway. They have been an autonomous region of the Kingdom of Denmark since 1948. The Faroese have, over the years, taken control of most matters except defence (though they have a native coast guard), foreign affairs and the legal system which are the responsibility of Denmark.
The Faroes have close traditional ties to Iceland, Shetland, Orkney, the Outer Hebrides and Greenland. The archipelago was politically detached from Norway in 1814. The Faroes are represented in the Nordic Council as a part of the Danish delegation.

STORYLINE:
US President George W. Bush arrived in Denmark late on Tuesday on his fourth trip to Europe this year.
Bush is to discuss trans-Atlantic relations with Danish Prime Minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen on Wednesday, before joining other world leaders at the G8 summit at Gleneagles in Scotland.
Denmark's centre-right government is a staunch supporter of the Bush administration and has committed troops to US-led coalitions in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Air Force One touched down at 21:20 local time (1920 GMT) at Copenhagen's international airport.
The president and his wife Laura were greeted by Fogh Rasmussen and his wife, Anne-Mette, before boarding a helicopter that flew them to Fredensborg Palace, about 35 kilometres (20 miles) north of Copenhagen.
The palace, inaugurated in 1722, has been used as a summer residence for generations of Danish royals.
Denmark's figurehead monarch, Queen Margrethe, and her husband Prince Henrik, welcomed the president and Laura Bush to Fredensborg.
By tradition, visiting royals and heads of state etch their names on the palace windows, including President Bill Clinton who visited Denmark in 1997.
Just hours before Bush's arrival, hundreds of people demonstrated across Denmark, including in Copenhagen where about 200 protesters marched to the US embassy, chanting anti-American slogans and burning Danish and US flags.
Bush, who will be 59 on Wednesday, is the second sitting US president to visit Denmark, after Clinton.

Europe is a continent located entirely in the Northern Hemisphere and mostly in the Eastern Hemisphere. It is bordered by the Arctic Ocean to the north, the Atlantic Ocean to the west, Asia to the east, and the Mediterranean Sea to the south. It comprises the westernmost part of Eurasia.
Europe covers about 10,180,000 square kilometers (3,930,000 sq mi), or 2% of the Earth's surface (6.8% of land area). Politically, Europe is divided into about fifty sovereign states of which the Russian Federation is the largest and most populous, spanning 39% of the continent and comprising 15% of its population. Europe had a total population of about 741 million (about 11% of the world population) as of 2016. The European climate is largely affected by warm Atlantic currents that temper winters and summers on much of the continent, even at latitudes along which the climate in Asia and North America is severe. Further from the sea, seasonal differences are more noticeable than close to the coast.
