The King Has Landed | The Exchange | Episode 2
EPISODE 2!!! I know it’s a week late and you guys have probably been waiting for this episode. No excuses for not uploading last week other than it was orientation week and orientation week in Danish means drinking week. Nevertheless here’s the Dubrovnik blog you’ve been waiting for.
Started off by leaving Split, great city would definitely go back sometime. Stopped at the airport to pick up the lil sis who seemed to be dying at that point. Then started the 4 hour drive to Dubrovnik. Hands down one of the most beautiful drives of my life. The only drive that compares is one we did through Alaska when I was 17.
For those of you who don’t know, I’m a huge GOT (Game of Thrones) fan and Dubrovnik was a big location for filming in the first 5 seasons, I’m not sure if the filmed in Dubrovnik past that. Either way I was super stoked to visit the city and see some of the places they filmed in.
Once we made our way to the AirBnb we realized that we were right in the middle of the Old Town which was awesome! Our AirBnb host was a beauty too, the guy owned a bar and a restaurant in the Old Town and we eventually went to both. After settling in we found some dinner and beer and then Mo and I went to Culture Club (fuck yea, fist pump). Cover was ridiculous but we only had a couple nights together before I left for Aarhus so I was like fuck it.
The next day we woke up hungover and walked around the wall of the Old Town. Such a sick walk and I was going nuts over filming everything. After the walk we all crashed in the apartment for an hour before hitting the beach for some rays uh suh dude. Later I went to the bar that owned by our AirBnb host where they played that week’s GOT episode every Monday night. So obviously I went and the place was packed. It was a really cool atmosphere cuz everyone was so into it and we were all ooooing and aaahhhing and booing. Such a fun time!
The third day we decided to rent a boat and do our own tour around the islands close to Dubrovnik. Got the boat and we were praying that it wouldn’t capsize in the middle of the sea. Made it to the first stop where there was a cool cave we swam into. The water was soooooo clear as you could see in the footage. Made our way to the next island and I had to rip a number two but I had to swim about 200 metres to the shore and then run to the bathroom. Finally relieved myself and then swam some beers back to the boat. Ripped to our third and final stop where we had a nice lunch right by the sea and some fries with ketchup!! First time ever having ketchup in Croatia. Explored the island a little bit before getting some ice cream and taking off back home.
We had a chill night and a nice dinner at our AirBnb host’s restaurant, which had some amazing seafood. Our waiter knew we were “friends” of the owner, AKA renting his place so we got free drinks with dinner. Walked around the town a bit then grabbed some drinks with the lil sis.
Overall an unreal time in Croatia and I would recommend you go to Split or Dubrovnik or both. Who knows, I’m in Europe for the next 4 months so I may go back. Anyways hoped you guys enjoyed the vlog!! I will be more consistent I promise! To keep you on your toes, I’m actually in Copenhagen airport right now, on my way to Brussels then Paris so stay tuned and hit that subscribe button!!

The Ultimate Resource - Full Video
Somewhere on earth, at this very minute, a child is beginning its journey through life. Two-hundred-and-fifty babies are born every minute, 15 thousand an hour, 132 million a year - each and every year. Among them may be the potential to cure disease, or to change the course of world history, because people are the world's ultimate resource.
Around the world, there are enormous and complicated challenges. But extraordinary change can happen when ordinary people have the tools and the freedom to make their own decisions. Free Market incentives are spectacularly changing lives and entire economies over much of the world. In the last 25 years, hundreds of millions of people-- 400 million in China alone-- have climbed out of the dire poverty of living on less than $1 per day. It is the largest movement out of poverty in human history. Yet, two-thirds of the world's population-- four billion people-- still does not have the tools to thrive in free markets. Forced to operate outside the rule of law, they have little education, no legal identity, no fungible property, no credit, no capital, and thus few ways to prosper. However, when given the incentives and the tools, these people are proving they can apply their free choice, intelligence, imagination and spirit to dramatically advance their well-being and that of their families and communities.
This exclusive documentary looks at the before and after lives of individuals and families, exploring some of the surprising, innovative initiatives and trends at work in unlikely places around the world: Bangladesh, China, Estonia, Peru and Ghana. The program features Muhammad Yunus, winner of the 2006 Nobel Peace Prize; Hernando de Soto, founder of The Institute for Liberty and Democracy in Peru; James Tooley, British professor of education policy and Johan Norberg, Swedish author and scholar.

Listening is a more natural way of learning, when compared to reading. Written language only began at around 3200 BC, but spoken language has existed long ago.
Learning by listening is a great way to:
- increases imagination and understanding
- improves your listening skills
- improves your own spoken accent
- learn while on the move
- reduce eye strain
Now learn the vast amount of general knowledge available on Wikipedia through audio (audio article). You could even learn subconsciously by playing the audio while you are sleeping! If you are planning to listen a lot, you could try using a bone conduction headphone, or a standard speaker instead of an earphone.

SUMMARY
=======
Helsinki (, Finnish: [ˈhelsiŋki] (listen); Swedish: Helsingfors [hɛlsɪŋˈfɔʂː] (listen)) is the capital and most populous city of Finland. Located on the shore of the Gulf of Finland, it is the seat of the region of Uusimaa in southern Finland, and has a population of 650,058. The city's urban area has a population of 1,268,296, making it by far the most populous urban area in Finland as well as the country's most important center for politics, education, finance, culture, and research. Helsinki is located 80 kilometres (50 mi) north of Tallinn, Estonia, 400 km (250 mi) east of Stockholm, Sweden, and 390 km (240 mi) west of Saint Petersburg, Russia. It has close historical ties with these three cities.
Together with the cities of Espoo, Vantaa, and Kauniainen, and surrounding commuter towns, Helsinki forms the Greater Helsinki metropolitan area, which has a population of nearly 1.5 million. Often considered to be Finland's only metropolis, it is the world's northernmost metro area with over one million people as well as the northernmost capital of an EU member state. After Stockholm and Oslo, Helsinki is the third largest municipality in the Nordic countries. The city is served by the international Helsinki Airport, located in the neighboring city of Vantaa, with frequent service to many destinations in Europe and Asia.
Helsinki was the World Design Capital for 2012, the venue for the 1952 Summer Olympics, and the host of the 52nd Eurovision Song Contest.
Helsinki has one of the highest urban standards of living in the world. In 2011, the British magazine Monocle ranked Helsinki the world's most liveable city in its liveable cities index. In the Economist Intelligence Unit's 2016 liveability survey, Helsinki was ranked ninth among 140 cities.
