I had a very relaxing journey to NORTH HEAD in MANLY to see an awesome view of SYDNEY!! Second to last day of the trip is sad as thoughhhhhhhh!

This is the second episode of my Sydney vlog, after my Melbourne vlog. Shot with gopro hero 6 and hero 5. the trip was in November 2017. Sydney a must visit destination . I had a chance to visit sydney during my Melbourne trip.

Great place to watch Sydney city harbour and skyline view : North head Manly, NSW, Sydney

Hi, everyone..! This is Honan.
Today, the place that I want to show you is North Head Manly.
North head Manly is actually in the Sydney harbour national park, at the North head Manly, there are historical buildings, structures, and also you can see grand panoramic Sydney harbours and city skyline.

To get North head Manly, either you can come by car or come by transportation which is Ferry and do fair bit of walk. To come to the North head Manly, obviously, you need to follow the north head track, but actually, the track course is part of the Manly scenic walkway. Original Manly scenic walkway starts from the Spit bridge of Mosman and go through the Manly Cove and Manly beach and then brings you to the North head Manly. But for coming to North head Manly, all you need to do is coming to the Manly with Ferry from Circular Quay station, and do the sort of half of the Manly scenic walkway.

But still, to come to the North head Manly and go back, you needs to walk around 10km, which is not a short track, you better to bring sunscreen, hat, wearing comfortable shoes, water and also as you need to walk in a bush, might better to bring bugs spray.

Once you enter the Sydney Harbour national Park, you can see many old style buildings, and if you keep following the road, you will see guide plate which will direct you to the lookouts. At the north head manly, there is also small track which is called Fairfax trail, if you walk along the track, you will see the spectacular views over Sydney Harbour heads. The tracks will bring you to few lookouts, and at there you also can see Cityscape with skyline.

오늘 제가 여러분들께 소개 해 드리고 싶은 장소는, North Head Manly 랍니다..!
흔히 North head Manly 라고 알려진 이 장소는, 사실 시드니의 Harbour national Park 인데요,
이곳에는, 역사적인 건물들과 구조들, 그리고 이곳에 오시면 넓게 탁 트인 광경의 시드니 항구들 그리고 도시의 skyline을 볼 수가 있답니다..!

North head Manly에 가기 위해서는, 자가용을 이용해서 오거나 혹은 대중교통을 이용해서 올 수도 있는데요, 자가용의 경우는, 뭐... 그냥
차 끌고 오시면 되구요.. ㅋㅋ 대중교통을 이용해서 오실 경우에는, 맨리 페리정거장으로 페리를 타고 오신 후에, 이곳부터 걸어서 오실 수 있답니다.
당연히, North head Manly에 오기 위해서는 North head Manly 트랙을 이용하셔야 하는데요, 사실, 이 트래킹 코스는
시드니 로컬사람들에게 되게 유명한 트래킹 중 하나인 Sydney Manly Scenic walkway 일부랍니다..! 원래 Manly Scenic walkway 는 Mosman 지역에 있는
Spit bridge 부터 시작해서 Manly Cove, Manly beach 를 들렀다가 North head Manly로 코스가 이어지게 되는데요, 뭐 여튼, North head Manly로 오기 위해서는
굳이 이 코스를 다 할 필요 없이, 저희들은 맨리비치 에서 시작을 하면 되는거죠. :)

하지만 North Head Manly를 왔다가 다시 돌아 가기 위해서는, 대략 10km 라는 꽤 거리 있는 산책을 하셔야 하기 때문에, 오시기 전 꼭..! 선크림, 마실 물, 모자,
편한 신발을 신고 오시는게 좋구요, 또 맨리워크는 본다이 비치 워크와 달리 숲속(?) 을 걸어야 하기 때문에, 아마 벌레 스프레이를 들고 오면 귀찮을 일이 없을 거라 생각해요.


Sydney harbour national Park로 일단 들어오시게 되면, 많은 오래된 양식의, 혹은 그냥 오래되 보이는 건물들을 보실 수 있는데요, 당황하지 마시고 그냥 길 따라 쭉
걷다 보시면, lookouts (전망대라고 하나요..?)를 갈 수 있는 안내판이 곳곳이 나온답니다.

노스헤드 맨리에는 Firefax trail 혹은 Firefax walk 이라 불리는 짧은 산책로가 있는데요, 이 트랙을 따라 걸으신다면, 시드니 도시의 경치와, 항구들, 그리고 넓게 펼쳐진 바다의 수평선을 감상할 수 있답니다 ;)

Set just a short ferry ride from the CDB of Sydney over beautiful harbour waters, this Northern Beaches suburb features 3km of surfing beach on the ocean side (North Steyne, South Steyne and Queenscliff ) and calm netted pools on the harbour side... so there are countless activities to suit everyone from young to old.

For a free trek around the local Northern beaches, try the Hop Skip Jump bus which which loops around the local area, allowing locals to jump on and off without paying a cent. You can't ask for much more.

Manly City Centre - Manly NSW - Sydney Australia

Manly is a beach-side suburb of northern Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. It is 17 kilometres (11 mi) north-east of the Sydney central business district. Manly has a long-standing reputation as a tourist destination, owing to its attractive setting on the Pacific Ocean and easy accessibility by ferry.

Manly is most notable for its beaches which are popular tourist destinations. Manly features a long stretch of sand on the ocean side, that runs from Queenscliff through North Steyne to South Steyne . This is followed by rock pools and sandy beaches called Fairy Bower and Shelly Beach. There are also a number of beaches on the harbour side of the peninsula. Norfolk Island pine trees are symbolic of Manly and are a prominent feature of both the ocean and harbour beaches.

The commercial Manly is centred around The Corso, which runs from the harbour side at Manly wharf to the ocean side at Manly Beach. Part of The Corso is a mall which allows outdoor dining for cafes and restaurants. The commercial area extends to surrounding streets with more cafes and restaurants concentrated along the ocean and harbour shores.

The Corso is one of the main streets and a pedestrian mall in Manly. It connects the Manly ferry wharf to Manly Beach on the Pacific Ocean side of the Manly peninsula.

Transport services to Manly include a ferry service from Manly wharf and State Transit bus services to the city and other suburbs. The Manly Ferry journey takes 30 minutes and allows for scenic views of Sydney Harbour, surrounding national parks and Sydney icons including the Harbour Bridge and Opera House.

Manly has Sydney Harbour on its western side with calm water, ferry wharf, a swimming area, the Oceanworld Manly aquarium and sailing and yacht clubs. About 300 metres (1,000 ft) to the east is the Pacific Ocean and Manly Beach. There are more than 20 kilometres (12 mi) of cycle tracks that can be used to explore the area.

Skating to the North Head lookout near Manly in Sydney, Australia

I decided to skate from Manly to the North Head lookout in Sydney today. One cane really build up some speed on those roads in the Sydney Harbour Nature reserve. The route is about 7.2 km in both directions and is preceded by a 71 m ascent, which took quite some effort on Rollerblades.
