Portinatx lies at the north coast of Ibiza and was a small fisherman village in the past. Nowdays you find here a lot of hotels here.

Search for missing Briton, 25, who vanished during storm in Ibiza
A search mission has been launched in Ibiza after a British man disappeared during a violent storm. Spanish helpline service, 112 Emergency, said the 25-year-old was riding his motorbike along the north of the island before he disappeared near the Portinatx area of Sant Joan de Labritja. A spokesman said police were alerted by his colleague who had gone to search for him after the Briton - who was on a day off - failed to return from the trip. The colleague could only find his bike, the spokesman added. Emergency services, including the Guardia Civil, a national police force, and local police have begun scouring the Balearic Island on land and sea. They suspect the incident is weather-related, however the search had yet provided any positive results. Four people have died after Storm Gloria battered the Spanish Mediterranean coast from the start of the week, bringing high winds, heavy rain, and icy conditions. Another man, 41, from Spain, has also gone missing, which is also believed to be linked to the extreme weather conditions. On Tuesday, 112 Emergency warned residents that the storm can cause you to be hit by a sea storm. Don't stop to watch the waves and get away from breakwaters, boardwalks and other places where the waves may break nearby. Find a safe place. The Foreign Office, meanwhile, issued a weather warning for Brits thinking of travelling there, or already living in Spain. It said: Spain's meteorological office (AEMET) has issued an 'extreme risk' weather warning for the following provinces: Teruel, Albacete, Murcia, Barcelona, Girona, Tarragona, Valencia, Alicante and Castellon. The Balearics, Almeria, Granada and Jaen are also on high alert. High winds and snowfall may cause road closures and disruption to transport services.

They added that another man, 41, from Spain, was also missing in the Balearic Islands and believe it was linked to the weather.
The disappearances come after Storm Gloria battered the Spanish Mediterranean coast, causing rough seas and extremely high waves.

For any copyright, please send me a message. A land and sea search is under way to find a British man who vanished during a deadly storm that has ripped through Ibiza. The 25-year-old had been spending his day off riding his motorbike around the north of the Balearic island and was reported missing by a colleague when he failed to return. His colleague later went out to search for his friend and found the bike. Spanish helpline service 112 Emergency said the man is believed to have disappeared around the remote Portinatx area of Sant Joan de Labritja at the northernmost point of the island. A multi-agency search and rescue operation has since been launched on land and sea, and is being carried out by local police and the Guardia Civil. The Briton is one of three people to vanish in mainland Spain and the Balearic Islands in the last four days after Storm Gloria tore across the Mediterranean coast. A further eight people have died due to the storm, which ranks as the worst sea storm since 2003 and likely of this century, according to Dani Palacios, head of beach services for Barcelona in the northeast. It brought winds of up to 90mph (144kmh) and stirred up huge waves of up to 13.5m (44ft) at its peak. Hundreds of thousands of people have been left without power and weather alerts are still in place across three dozen provinces. According to Spanish authorities and rescue teams, one body was found in a river in Alicante, while another person died after a building collapsed in Alcoy, which was believed to have been caused by heavy rainfall. One man was killed after hailstones smashed through a greenhouse he was working in, according to the mayor of Almeria province, and a homeless man in Valencia is said to have died from low temperatures. In a statement on Tuesday, 112 Emergency warned residents keep away from the coastal areas as it can cause you to be hit by a sea storm. It added: Don't stop to watch the waves and get away from breakwaters, boardwalks and other places where the waves may break nearby. Find a safe place. Meanwhile, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez tweeted: Solidarity and government support to the families of the victims of the #BorrascaGloria and to those who are suffering the fatal consequences of this storm. I reiterate my thanks to the emergency services that work tirelessly to help the population.

The Island of Ibiza is a popular destination for both holidays and those in search of a new home. Magnificent weather, Ibiza boasts some of the cleanest, most picturesque beaches in the Mediterranean. With a large number claiming the EEC Blue Flag you will find beaches with the perfect combination; warm weather, blue skies and soft sand. Not only are the beaches packed with water sports, the Islands Mountains, full of tropical plants, trees and wild life, offer a great day out too. From horse riding to hiking or biking, the opportunities to explore are endless. There is something for everybody amongst Ibiza's famous clubs, exclusive bars and extensive range of restaurants. With people from every walk of life, the Island both caters for and welcomes all kinds! Ibiza Island is situated in the Balearic archipel. This is the third island in term of surface after Mallorca and Minorca. Ibiza surface is 543 22 km² with 209 km of coastline. The population of the island is 77 000 inhabitants. Well known for it night activities, Ibiza is also a wonderful island, with emeralds beaches, and an always blue sky (more than 305 days of sunshine per year). The story of Ibiza begins in 1600 years before Jesus Christ, although it is not chronologically referenced before the year 654 when Carthage create Ibosim, today named Eivissa, capital of the Island. It is Diodoro Siculo who supplies us the first text reference about the island: ... Having been named Sardinia first, the island was called Pitiusa, due to the number of pines on it... After the Carthaginian time comes the Roman domination. During this period Ibiza carries the title of Confederate City. The next five centuries are called dark centuries due to the information left. The island was controlled by the Barbarians and the Byzantine until the year 711 when Arabic land on the Island and call it Yebisah. The historic date for the island is August 8th 1235, date of the Catalan conquest. At this moment the islands of Ibiza and Formentera join the western world. Note that during centuries Ibiza was a meeting point for the Saracen vessels which ravaged the Mediterranean Sea, protected by the Turkish squadron. It is during these times that the towers which surround the island and the aspect of fortress of the rural churches were built. Today, the Island of Ibiza is divided into five provinces: Eivissa the capital; Santa Eulària, Sant Antoni, Saint Joan and Sant. Josep.

Por sorte, você pode começar a explorar a Espanha aqui, com esse grupo de convidados que fala a sua língua.
