Rima Baransi dancing in Trieste, Italy with violinist Ivo Remenec [Horizontally stabilized]
Original uncorrected video Palestinian tourist dancing in Italy here: This is Palestinian dancer and choreographer Rima Baransi (Arabic: ريما برانسي) dancing to a performance by violinist Ivo Remenec in Trieste, Italy. Her father Assad Baransi (Arabic: الأسد برانسي) recorded this video while he and her sister Leen (Arabic: لين برانسي) encouraged her to dance to the music. They were visiting the town as tourists.

June 20, 2016: After a couple of days of work, searching and emailing, I have discovered who the violinist is.
In this video Slovak violinist Ivo Remenec is performing a violin adaptation of the song entitled, “Comptine d'un Autre Eté: l'Après Midi” by French musician and composer Yann Tiersen: The most well known version of Tiersen's song features in the soundtrack of the film Amélie (French title: Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain).
Ivo Remenec is a member of the Adventure Strings string quartet:

English translation of what is said:
Father (Assad Baransi): C'mon Rima! C'mon! Here I am filming, c'mon Rima for God's sake! For my sake! For my sake! C'mon start! [Do it!], C'mon Daddy! (here it's normal for Dads to call their child Dad, and Moms to call them Mom).
I was very touched by the performance in this video and wanted to use my video editing skills to try correcting in a graceful way the issue of the video turning between vertical and horizontal orientations found in the original recording here. →
By doing this and then sharing my fixed version of the video in a few key social media sites I also hoped to help this awesome and magical performance be seen by more people.

Hotel Victoria Trieste, 4 stars hotel
Hotel Victoria was founded with the aim of paying homage to the cultural traditions of Trieste, and does it by conveying the charm, history and elegance of this Middle-European city par excellence through its 44 rooms.
Located in an historical building - which was once also home to the famous Irish writer James Joyce, to whom one of its suites is dedicated, Hotel Victoria has been furnished with meticulous attention to detail and an unquestionable lean for elegance. The 44 hotel rooms all provide the guests with the best in comfort and quality of service. For this reason, Hotel Victoria is the ideal solution for both businessmen and leisure travellers, who will have the possibility to immerse themselves in a dimension of pure harmony.
Listen to the place, tune in to the building, and feel the sound of the past. Echoes of times perhaps not yet ancient, but already historical, expressed by the Neoclassical lines and strokes, by the faint colours that seemingly enlarge spaces and shapes, and by the smooth decorative ridges and bulges that pleasantly slow down our perception of time.
A space within which architecture meets man and mans habits, the human dimension, and becomes an emotional and thrilling experience.
Eight Junior suites harmonically merged with the building itself, a place in which the dimension of time can also be appreciated through the details in the décor: poster beds, original art paintings hanging from the walls, cosy fireplaces, bookshelves, ancient stone walls, soft colours and warm fabrics. All these elements turn this hotel into a sophisticated, but purposely not exclusive destination.
Elegant elegance is how we like to call it.
This is, therefore, the essence of the Hotel Victoria, Triestes own literary hotel.
We are now in the lobby, meant to be an open and flexible system.
When necessary, the area can open up and welcomes the interaction of spaces, or, it can take the shape of more sober and intimate, smaller areas. It is the ideal meeting point for a thoughtful moment, an openly breathing grand parterre, even vertically speaking, warmed by open daylight.
In such a setting it is a pleasure to indulge in reading, basking through the thoughts of the greatest writers of literature of all times. Or just unwind at the cocktail bar.
Generous spaces, classy decors, abundance of prime quality, rich and precious materials, wood that carries that elusive 19th century fragrance, stylish details all speak of a journey of the being that is punctuated, visually and literarily, by Gustavo Palumbos personal art exhibition.
34 Neoclassical paintings, adorned with captions and quotes from James Joyces most famous works, as a tribute to the legendary writer, to whom this very building was a home for two years.
The entire project sparkles with a free thinking that has resulted in a time-proof and cosmopolitan style, a metaphor of the universality and longevity of human literary and artistic work, for a hotel that is certainly not threatened by nor shy of the most cultivated and intellectual atmosphere of the literary cafes, so typical of this Mitteleuropean city.
The vast spaces, in which a classical style predominates, are given a fresh breath of life by applying standards and parameters of todays sophisticated aesthetics, and a touch of the presents most up to date state-of-the-art technologies: wi-fi network, plasma TV screens, independent climate and temperature control, safe boxes, mini bar, Jacuzzi, Technogym fitness centre.
And, on the very top floor, right on the roof of the city, even a relaxing wellness centre, the ideal to get back in shape and energize after a days work.
But the material and evocative essence of the entire building entwine and concoct to perfection in the Joyce Suite.
This is where the emotional tastes, the impalpable atmospheres, the wandering memories that leave a lasting aftertaste of this city all get to live again, like a journey of ones being into (to have the privilege to quote from the words of our citys own Umberto Saba) the sullen beauty of Trieste.

Winter Fun for Everyone in Northern Italy
More Information:
Hit the slopes of the Lombardy region in Northern Italy this winter with a three, four or seven night stay in a four-star hotel including half board, spa access and ski passes! Hardened skiers can look forward to receiving a six-day ski pass if they stay for seven nights, while the three and four night stays come with a one-day ski pass and are perfect for those looking forward to a shorter break away. You can also ease those aching muscles with spa access at your hotel as well as enjoying breakfast and dinner each day as part of your stay. Skiing by day, sauna by night — not a bad way to while away a few days this winter!
The Employee by Junglebook, live at Wolfgang's, July 1, 1986
Wolfgang's was Bill Graham's old nightclub space on the edge of North Beach in San Francisco. Back in 1986, I played in the basement room there along with The McGuires, the now-world-renowned Pamela Z, and some non-musical acts for an event called The Circle Arts Circus. This video is taken from the static, one-shot video camera in the ceiling. I jazzed it up a little bit just to make it more visually interesting - otherwise, it would just look like infra-red glowing-green surveillance footage of a hippie abusing some drums. This is a pretty classic, straightforward performance of my biggest hit as a solo act, an autobiographical tale about working downtown called The Employee. I hope you like it! About a year later, I started playing drums with the awesome Baldo Rex. I have some studio recordings of the song available for licensing, if you'd like to put it in your TV show, movie, or game. Oh, and don't forget my straight job - by day, I'm a Name Consultant and Freelance Namer. If you need a commercial name, check out Gunnion.com for more info.

The first in the series is this trattoria near Grant and Green. Known for its thin-crust pizza, the restaurant might be small, but the family who own it are larger than life. Walter and Stefania Gambaccini, and sons Elia and Filippo, are recent immigrants to North Beach, moving here from the village of Altopascio near Lucca, after buying the old Danilo Bakery.

North Beach San Francisco (Little Italy) - 7 Best Things To Do
North Beach San Francisco blog post can be found here:
Visiting San Francisco? You will want to check out the North Beach San Francisco neighborhood! It can be overlooked compared to other popular tourist areas like Fisherman's Wharf but it has a lot to offer in the way of food and attractions!
The first thing you'll want to do is head to Caffe Trieste and grab a cappuccino or espresso. This Italian cafe is historic and has been frequented by celebrities.
The second thing is to check out Washington Square Park, one of my favorite places to relax in San Francisco, where you will find historic St. Peter and Paul Church and lots of people hanging out!
Third on the list is to walk Columbus Avenue, where you will find beautiful architecture, notably the Transamerica Pyramid and the Sentinel Building. The Transamerica Pyramid was once the 7th tallest building in the world. Meanwhile, the Sentinel Building houses American Zoetrope, a film studio co-founded by Star Wars creator George Lucas.
Fourth is Golden Boy Pizza, where you will find my personal favorite slice of pizza. I highly recommend getting a Clam and Garlic slice and seating can be minimal so taking your pizza to go is a good option.
Fifth on the list is the Coit Tower. You will have to walk up a hill to get there but once at the top, you will get great views of the bay and Downtown San Francisco.
Sixth is the Greenwich Steps. There are about 400 steps and they are steep so be careful! The steps will take you all the way down to The Embarcadero, the road along the ocean. The California vegetation you will find along the steps is beautiful and I recommend checking the steps out at twilight to get a stunning picture with the Bay Bridge in the background.
Last but not least, you can't leave North Beach San Francisco without experiencing the nightlife! The neighborhood is filled with bars and eateries that are open late, as the area intersects with the bustle of Chinatown. When I first visited San Francisco, my friend took me to the Beer Pong Lounge, where you can sign up for a beer pong tournament, and he also took me to an interesting dive bar in Chinatown called Li Po.
