Wells Gray Provincial Park | North Thompson Valley
Step up to the ledge. A cool mist dampens your skin, thundering water surrounds you, and your heart beats faster. Raw, untamed water plummets vertically. It is so primal you can feel it in your bones. Wells Gray Provincial Park is known for these waterlogged beasts. Welcome to the land of the waterfalls. Enjoy the 39 named waterfalls and find others left as anonymous scattered throughout the park.

Blue River | North Thompson Valley
In the North Thompson Valley everyone has a few wild neighbours. But in Blue River, in the heart of a temperate inland rainforest, our wild neighbours are of the fur-covered, four-legged kind. Just off the Yellowhead Highway step out of your vehicle. River Safari will take you on a guided boat tour into the Canadian wilderness for bear viewing. The milky blue-green waters of Mud River carry you to the Mud Lake Delta, one of the richest habitats for black bears and Grizzly Bears in all of British Columbia.

RCMP Evict Secwepemc Women Tiny House Warriors From Village Site- Clearwater BC North Thompson Park
Secwepemc Tiny House Warriors Assert Title & Rights to ancient village site in what is now used by public as North Thompson River Provincial Park. July 2018 is the month the RCMP moved in and arrested my twin sister Kanahus and threatened to arrest the entire Secwepemc Village if we didn't pack up and leave. Tiny House Warriors mission is to stop Kinder Morgan Trans Mountain Bitumen Pipeline with tiny houses on wheels. We have it in our mandate to avoid this fraudulent In-junk-tion process as much as we can because the feds and prov are using it to undermine our Indigenous Title and Right to say NO to destructive projects.
Tiny House Warriors were forcefully evicted this day by the RCMP and they have since moved to the location where Trans Mountain proposes a 1000-Man Camp. Tiny House Warriors continues to stop Trans Mountain Bitumen Pipeline.
Wells Gray Provincial Park | North Thompson Valley
Fiery volcanoes and icy glaciers created the lush, rugged hinterland of Wells Gray Provincial Park. Out-flowing rapids were formed by their fight and provide some of the most dramatic geological viewing in British Columbia. Get prepared to be stunned as you walk on nature’s edge.

The Clearwater goods
Clearwater BC has got some of the finest boating in all of BC! A sick big water run with everything from terrifying class 5 stouts to mellow fun class 3 play sections. Right by the town of Clearwater is also Raft creek, a run that doesn't come in often, but when she does it's a drop everything and rally to raft!! because it's stacked with continuous quality class 4 moves in a boxed in canyon that ends with a wonderful 20 ft drop!
Definitely one of my favorite summer destinations!
