Teenage Prostitutes Working Indy Truck Stops
INDIANAPOLIS - Police have moved in to tackle a growing presence of teenage prostitutes at some truck stops on the south side of Indianapolis.
Numerous truckers have told Indianapolis police that several teenagers have been going door to door, selling sex from cab to cab and door to door as trucks line up for fuel or rest breaks.
Police said numerous truckers have been reporting that prostitutes have been knocking on their doors to offer sex at the group of truck stops along South Harding, including one girl who is 14 years old.

MEXICO: PROSTITUTION
Spanish/Nat
Mexico's prostitutes are protesting their plight in society as the poverty conference in Copenhagen focuses on women's issues.
These forgotten women of Mexico are marking International Women's Day, by struggling to survive in a country in the throes of an economic crisis.
These are the forgotten women of Mexico - the ones that in order to survive in a harsh society must turn to the oldest profession.
These women - the prostitutes of Mexico City - try to find solace in the one thing that is constant in their lives, their faith.
On International Women's Day, groups of prostitutes attended mass at a local church.
Official figures puts the number of prostitutes in Mexico City at 200,000. Most get paid 50 pesos from each client, the equivalent of less than 10 dollars.
With the recent fall of the peso, their situation has gotten even worse.
SOUNDBITE: (Spanish)
What leads us into this occupation is the economic situation that we have lived for many years and that every day gets worse. The problem is the crisis.
SUPER CAPTION: Ana Maria Casimiro, leader of the prostitute group M-U-S-A
Faced with government indifference to their plight and fearful of the growth of the AIDS epidemic, the prostitutes of Mexico City began organizing themselves.
The two most powerful groups are M-U-S-A (Women United Against AIDS) and HUMANS AGAINST AIDS.
According to the groups leaders , the two groups have more than
20,000 affiliates nationwide.
Products of an extremely Catholic society, many have turned to the church.
SOUNDBITE: (Spanish)
We have to treat them like human beings, with respect. And by treating them respectfully like human beings they'll respond in a positive way.
SUPER CAPTION: Father Jose Ruiz
With the continuing decline of the peso, the economic situation in Mexico has taken a turn for the worse.
This only makes the drama of the daily lives of the prostitutes that much worse.

Inside Nevada’s Moonlite Bunny Ranch
The women of Nevada's Moonlite Bunny Ranch brothel are both sex workers and master negotiators.
Come for the sex, stay for the negotiating skills: At Nevada's Moonlite Bunny Ranch, success depends less on beauty and more on a woman's skill at asking for what she deserves.
Unlike most industries, many legal sex workers in legal prostitution are paid more than their illegal counterparts. The price difference is in part due to the negotiation, which creates an opportunity for price discrimination (charging more to customers willing to pay). The brothels are legal, but listing prices are not. Negotiation skills are mandatory for these women.
The brothel has something of an employee manual that contains tips and instructions on how to negotiate. The Bunny Bible was written by Dennis Hof and his COO, Suzette Cole.

The Nightmare World of Gang Stalking
More than 10,000 people worldwide claim they're the victims of a vast organized surveillance effort designed to ruin their lives, a phenomenon known as gang stalking. Mental health experts see gang stalking as a symptom of paranoia, but the self-identified victims who insist what they're experiencing is real have come together online and in support groups to share their stories.
VICE met up with a handful of Americans who claim their lives have been derailed by gang stalking to understand what serious consequences the phenomenon presents. Then we hear from Dr. Josh Bazell, one of many physicians who believes the victims of gang stalking are experiencing dangerous delusions that could be treated by mental health professionals.

Analysis | The Daily 202: Kavanaugh hearing offers an ‘unprecedented’ display of the Senate’s institutional decline
Brett Kavanaugh, Supreme Court, confirmation hearing, Donald Trump, Senate Judiciary Committee, unprecedented, document review, George W. Bush, Robert Mueller, Merrick Garland
By James Hohmann September 5 at 9:57 AM With Breanne Deppisch and Joanie Greve THE BIG IDEA: The old bulls agreed something is rotten, but they disagreed on what’s causing the stench. Democrats disrupted the first hour of Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearing on Tuesday by making procedural objections to highlight the degree to which Republicans have blocked them from accessing hundreds of thousands of pages of potentially important records from the Supreme Court nominee’s time in George W. Bush’s White House. “Any claim that this has been a thorough, transparent process is downright Orwellian,” said Sen. Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.), who was elected in 1974 and has been involved in 19 Supreme Court fights. “This is the most incomplete, most partisan, least transparent vetting for any Supreme Court nominee I have ever seen, and I have seen more of those than any person serving in the Senate today. What is being done here is unprecedented. … I have never seen so much at stake with a single seat, and I’ve also never seen such a dangerous rush to fill it.” Among other tactics, President Trump is blocking the release of more than 100,000 pages of documents by asserting executive privilege. Leahy noted that Ronald Reagan tried to claim executive privilege to stop documents from William Rehnquist’s service in the Nixon administration from coming out but backed off under bipartisan pressure from the Senate. “I have a sense of history,” Leahy said. “Boy, how times have changed!” Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah), the second-longest serving senator, said what’s unprecedented is the “insolence” from the liberal protesters who were disrupting the hearing and the Democrats on the dais who were making a commotion. “This has been the most thorough Supreme Court process that I’ve ever participated in,” said Hatch, who was elected in 1976. A former presidential candidate himself, he noted that several Democrats on the Judiciary Committee plan to run in 2020 and they want to get on television by being needlessly provocative. “They have to turn the volume up to 11 to paint you as one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse,” Hatch explained to Kavanaugh, raising his voice to speak over protesters who were screaming in the hearing room. “I don't know that the committee should have to put up with this type of insolence that's going on in this room today and, frankly, these people are so out of line they shouldn't even be allowed in the doggone room.” More than 70 protesters, mostly women, were arrested in the Hart Senate Office Building by the end of the day — an unusually high number, even for a high-profile hearing. -- During seven hours of opening statements on the first day of hearings that will continue through Friday, the word “unprecedented” was uttered a perhaps-unprecedented 20 times, by at least seven senators from both parties: Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.) complained that Bill Burck, a buddy of Kavanaugh’s who worked for him in the White House, is in contr

Mike Estes-Lead guitar, Lead vocals
Mike was in the band, Helen Highwater (named by Lynyrd Skynyrd guitarist Allen Collins). While in high school, Mike became friends with the guys in the Rossington Collins Band (founded by Skynyrd plane crash survivors) who had decided to do the Lynyrd Skynyrd Tribute Tour in 1987, bringing Helen Highwater on to open some shows for them. In 1992 Mike began going on the road with Skynyrd to write songs for an upcoming album, and signed a publishing deal with Skynyrd guitarist Ed King's company I Can't Read Music. He had been writing for six months when he was asked to join the band as guitarist. Mike spent the next three years touring, writing and recording with his favorite band, appearing on the '94 Capricorn release Endangered Species 1995's live recording, Southern Knights and the 100 Minutes with Lynyrd Skynyrd video. After moving to Tennessee in 1995, Mike co wrote a song with Johnny VanZant and Gary Rossington for Sony Music's Hotter Than Asphalt CD called White Knuckle Ride that broke the Billboard charts. In 2006 the song was used in a CMT original movie called True Grit: The Junior Johnson Story as well as in the video game released in conjunction with the Disney/Pixar movie Cars also released in 2006.
Kurt Pietro-Drums
Kurt started playing drums at a young age at his parent's house, playing along with records that featured his favorite drummers, including Jakson Spires of Blackfoot, Tommy Aldridge, and Tommy Lee of Motley Crue. Kurt had spent six years in the proverbial woodshed when a friend of his neighbors overheard him practicing and asked him if he would like to join a band. Kurt accepted, and spent a few years playing clubs and casinos with the band Crystal, as well as doing studio work around the Marquette, Michigan area. Kurt attended Northern Michigan University where he majored in broadcasting and music. This led Kurt to a gig working in Omni Studios in Nashville, Tennessee, where he met Mike Estes. Mike was in need of someone to overdub a drum part. Kurt mentioned that he played drums. He knocked out the part and joined Skinny Molly.
Chris Walker-guitar, backing vocals
Chris was born and raised and resides in England. He had his first contact with a guitar that belonged to his dad, who was also a guitarist. When young,Chris was classically trained on violin , so this was a natural inclination. Played well, classical music can reduce a man to tears, but it can't rearrange internal organs like a cranked up electric guitar is the Walker mantra. He prefers being untrained on guitar to being fully trained on the violin, and was influenced by blues and southern rockers Stevie Ray Vaughn, Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, and Ed King. He has been playing for twenty five years and has been in bands that opened for Saxon, Blur, Mothers Finest, Richard Chapman, Carlos Santana. Chris also builds and modifies his own guitar amplifiers.
Luke Bradshaw-bass
Luke was born in Peoria, Illinois and raised in northern Arkansas. He had a love for music at an early age, but it wasn't until he turned 15 that he found his love for the bass. Luke was primarily influenced by Leon Wilkeson of Lynyrd Skynyrd and Allen Woody of Gov't Mule and the Allman Brothers, but has spent a lot of career playing with country and bluegrass legends. He has now found a home for his aggressive, floor stomping style with Skinny Molly. Luke has played with a variety of Artists including American Idol's Bo Bice, Grand Ole Opry Star George Hamilton IV and Al Perkins (from Emmylou Harris's band). He has played upright and electric bass with bluegrass artists Bobby Hicks (Bill Monroe), Paul Brewster (Ricky Skaggs) and was a member of the legendary Jesse McReynolds and the Virginia Boys, with whom he performed on the Grand Ole Opry dozens of times. Bradshaw has played all over the United States including the Ryman Auditorium, the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame, USO shows in Alaska, and world famous Nashville venues The Ernest Tubb Record Shop, and B.B. King's. Not very often are you fortunate enough to play with your heroes, Bradshaw says, but to play in Skinny Molly with Mike Estes is a great honor for me. I have been a big fan of his work and it's truly exciting to share the stage with him and do something I enjoy so much.
