Well I was out at northland shopping centre today, when I parked my bike it was the only one there (it's like the lygon strip) and well after about one hour of shopping I came out to see it joined by a sexy ninja and a Hyosung, The Hyosung had a giant push bike parked right next to it that had just been placed and it was about to fall on to the Hyosung so I moved it to a spot that it would not do such a thing (sorry number plates are showing) not that good or just can't be ask'd to blur them out

Having some fun the other day with my DJI Spark drone. Flying it from Olympic Park next door to Northland Shopping Centre. Northland Shopping Centre is a major shopping centre in Preston, approximately 11 km north of the Melbourne Central Business District in Victoria. It is the largest predominantly single-level shopping centre in Melbourne.

Buses at Northland Shopping Centre (2013) - Melbourne Transport
In this video we see various buses at Northland, a large shopping centre situated in the northern Melbourne suburb of Preston with over 330 stores. Here we see various Dysons, Reservoir Bus Company, Transdev and Ventura buses, including MAN 16.240's, Scania L94UB's, Scania K230UB's, Scania K280UB's and Iveco Metro's
Taken in 2013, this video depicts the old undercover bus interchange. In April 2014 the interchange was relocated onto Murray Road and drew criticism for its lack of shelter from the weather. The video also depicts a time before the orange PTV livery became prevalent. All the buses in the video wear the livery of their operators.
Northland was the main hub for Ivanhoe Bus Company, who had a unique yellow, green and creme livery and purchased smaller buses, generally with Metrotec/Iveco chassis. They were purchased by Ventura in 2010 with the operations now becoming West Heidelberg depot. We do see a couple of Ventura buses with the Ivanhoe livery.

REC 0197 Boarding a bus at Northland Shopping Centre
Bus stop at Northland shopping centre.
This bus stop is one of about a dozen that make up a busy bus exchange at a busy Melbourne shopping mall.
A couple of years ago during an upgrade to the shopping centre, the bus interchange was moved from an easily accessible sheltered location adjacent to one of the main entrances to a much more remote location with little shelter and security. It now requires people to walk about 100 metres along an unsheltered narrow pathway through the carpark to get to the bus stop.
