Walking Tour: Around Downtown Raymond, WA; with Music
This city is very clean and pleasant upon first impressions. They have cool artwork around the city with their metal people. They also have a cool museum made up of a buggy collection. How many people take pride in their buggy collection? Many of the buggies look very similar to cars.
Imagine driving something that looks like a car, but have horses pulling it instead. I always found the Amish taste in buggies to be boring. They only choose a dark black for every one of their buggies. But that's not how everyone wanted their buggies to look back in the old days. People wanted unique looking and cool buggies, just like how kids today admire cool looking cars.

There is a lot of interesting things to look at. To think that these items were the very tools that helped people of the day to make a livelihood. Many of these types of tools are no longer in use largely because of technology improvements. We have certainly come a long way.
I would love to learn more about the history of these items and actually interact with them as they were intended to be used. Whereas our ancestors had to use them and experience the benefits and challenges using them, I can only imagine what it must have been like.

Carriage Steps in the United States
Shows views of carriage steps from all over the United States. A carriage step is a block of stone placed near the edge of the street usually in line with the front doorway of a home, it served as a stepping stone to help passengers as they climbed in and out of carriages Popular back in the horse and buggy days of the 19th century carriage steps could be seen in towns and cities all over the United States. They are rarely seen in the present day as most carriage steps have been destroyed because they became obsolete when cars took over as primary transportation.

Buddy Ebsen
Christian Ludolf Ebsen, Jr., known as Buddy Ebsen (April 2, 1908 – July 6, 2003), was an American character actor and dancer. A performer for seven decades, he had starring roles as Jed Clampett in the long-running CBS television series The Beverly Hillbillies and as the title character in the 1970s detective series Barnaby Jones. Ebsen also played Fess Parker's sidekick in Walt Disney's Davy Crockett miniseries (1953–54), and was cast as the Tin Man in The Wizard of Oz (1939) until he fell ill from an allergy to the makeup. Ebsen had a cameo role in the 1993 film version of The Beverly Hillbillies, not as Jed Clampett, but as his other famous character Barnaby Jones.

Mount Washington (New Hampshire)
Mount Washington is the highest peak in the Northeastern United States at 6,288 ft (1,917 m) and the most prominent mountain east of the Mississippi River. It is famous for dangerously erratic weather. For 76 years, until 2010, a weather observatory on the summit held the record for the highest wind gust directly measured at the Earth's surface, 231 mph (372 km/h or 103 m/s), on the afternoon of April 12, 1934. Before European settlers arrived, the mountain was known as Agiocochook, or Home of the Great Spirit.
The mountain is located in the Presidential Range of the White Mountains, in the township of Sargent's Purchase, Coos County, New Hampshire. While nearly the whole mountain is in the White Mountain National Forest, an area of 59 acres (24 ha) surrounding and including the summit is occupied by Mount Washington State Park.
