Yelagin Island is a unique protected natural complex. It is the northernmo st island in the Neva delta, laved with Big Nevka in the north, with Central Nevka in the south and south-east, and shooting out with the narrow cape into the Gulf of Finland. At one time a royal residence, Yelagin Island since the middle of last century passed into the possession of the state and became the Central Park of Culture and Recreation, and from this moment it opened its doors to all comers.
Today Kirov Central Park is a dynamically developing cultural and recreational space, suitable for audiences of different age groups and interests.
In the park, in Yelagin island palace, there is the Museum of Russian arts and crafts and interior of XVIII-XX centuries, with a permanent exhibition on the first and second floors, which demonstrates the everyday objects of past epochs.For guests of the park there are prepared various excursion programs, telling the history of the park and palace. In the palace there are costumed tours which offer everyone to learn ballroom etiquette XIX century...

В 2012 г. территория ЦПКиО им С.М. Кирова (Елагин Остров) получила статус Особо Охраняемой Природной Территории (ООПТ). Постановление Правительства Санкт-Петербурга от 26.06.2012 № 647 «О памятнике природы регионального значения «Елагин остров».
Сегодня ЦПКиО им. С.М. Кирова – динамично развивающееся культурно-рекреационное пространство, подходящее для аудитории разных возрастных групп и интересов.
На территории парка, в Елагиноостровском дворце, действует Музей русского декоративно-прикладного искусства и интерьера XVIII-XXвв., с постоянной экспозицией на первом и втором этажах, в которой демонстрируются предметы быта прошлых эпох. Для гостей парка подготовлены различные экскурсионные программы, рассказывающие об истории парка и дворца. Во Дворце проводят костюмированные экскурсии и балы, предлагающие всем желающим освоить светский этикет XIX века.
Каждую среду в Овальном зале Елагиностровского дворца, на концертах цикла «Елагинские вечера» можно услышать музыку всех направлений - от классики до джаза, от фольклора до танго, от средневековья до авангарда ..

Saint Petersburg is one of the most modern cities of Russia, as well as its cultural capital. The Historic Centre of Saint Petersburg and Related Groups of Monuments constitute a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Saint Petersburg is home to the Hermitage, one of the largest art museums in the world.
Many foreign consulates, international corporations, banks and businesses have offices in Saint Petersburg.
