In this latest video recording our Costa Rica Experiment we venture off to Eduardo's Farm with Nosara Day Camp. We didn't realize what a fun packed day it was going to be...fishing, hiking, swimming in a river, rope swings, waterfalls, farm animals, authentic Costa Rican food and howler monkeys! It was a magical day full of experiential learning!

This is the first time we've caught tilapia fish. These Costa Rica kids had a blast catching and eating them. Don't miss our other videos about family travel!

This video is an honest review of what I think is the bets way to enjoy costa rica with kids and a family, and this is putting the kids in the most fun day camp they can imagine!

Eduardo's off-grid Farm in Nosara, Costa Rica

Eduardo, Giusella and their sons open their farm to our Nosara Day Camp kids and show them all the amazing things happening on their homestead! The farm is off-grid so kids get to learn about sustainable living up close.
Kids will visit the tilapia pond where Eduardo raises fresh fish, see his honeybees, cows, pigs and horses, meet his chickens and hold the baby chicks. We will visit a wild spotted rodent called a Capybara who has taken up residence near the chicken coop. Depending on the season kids will get to pick pineapples, starfruit, limes, oranges, mangos, bananas, plantain, and cashews- which we get to roast and eat warm!
In the wet season we visit a waterfall and swing off the hill into the river :)
Before the end of the day kids will enjoy a traditional home-cooked lunch made from farm-fresh fish, eggs, chicken, homemade tortillas, fruit and veggies.
The day runs from 8- 2:30 pm.

We're all excited to catch some waves! We're a family of surfers so go figure!!! Costa Rica never fails to surprise us every time we visit this wonderful country in Central America. The people are great, its forest and ocean biodiversity is truly amazing and of course, the food!!!

Now, I'm definitely living my dream life! I'm free to spend my time with my family, bond with them, bond with nature - and simply be happy! I'm not tied to my job and left for the mercy of some arrogant boss as to how I should manage my time. I'm not a prisoner of some job that literally take the life out of me.

I'm simply free! And I'm loving it!

I'm a artist-eco-entrepreneur-mom, living in Costa Rica - enjoying freedom and embracing a more meaningful life while creating a sustainable business that keeps me mobile and free! Sounds pretty cool, right?
