When Montréal numbered less than 20,000 people in 1824, construction began on what would become one of the most beautiful buildings in the world: the Notre-Dame Basilica. And yes, this is where Celine Dion got married.

????NOTRE-DAME CATHEDRAL (Source - Wikipedia) -
Notre-Dame Basilica (French: Basilique Notre-Dame de Montréal) is a basilica in the historic district of Old Montreal, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
Built in the Gothic Revival style, the church is highly decorated. The vaults are coloured deep blue and decorated with golden stars, and the rest of the sanctuary is decorated in blues, azures, reds, purples, silver, and gold. It is filled with hundreds of intricate wooden carvings and several religious statues. Unusual for a church, the stained glass windows along the walls of the sanctuary do not depict biblical scenes, but rather scenes from the religious history of Montreal. It also has a Casavant Frères pipe organ, dated 1891.
????HABITAT 67 (Source - Wikipedia) -
Habitat 67, or simply Habitat, is a model community and housing complex in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, designed by Israeli/Canadian architect Moshe Safdie. It was originally conceived as his master's thesis in architecture at McGill University and then built as a pavilion for Expo 67, the World's Fair held from April to October 1967. It is located at 2600 Avenue Pierre-Dupuy on the Marc-Drouin Quay next to the Saint Lawrence River. Habitat 67 is widely considered an architectural landmark and one of the most recognizable and spectacular buildings in both Montreal and Canada.[1][2]

Notre-Dame Basilica in Old Montreal (Montreal, Quebec, Canada)
I visited the famous Notre-Dame Basilica (Basilique Notre-Dame de Montréal). The church is particularly well known for it's Gothic Revival architecture and the design of the main altar. It is located on the Old Montreal neighborhood in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Shot in July 2019.

Notre Dame Basilica in Montreal Canada
Honestly, the video and photos we have don't do this place justice. You have to see this place in person. The Basilica was built in 1672, In 1982 Pope John Paul II gave it the status of basilica. Notre Dame means Our Lady. The church was dedicated to the Virgin Mary.

City ambience sounds at night in Montreal, Quebec Canada. This video and binaural audio was recorded outside of the Notre Dame Basilica in the historic district of Old Montreal. The church is located at 110 Notre-Dame Street West. The Basilica is a great place to see during the night an day. And times, you can see long lines of people waiting to get in, weddings, an people hanging out in the square. I got a chance to go inside, but I didn't do any filming. Use these sounds for sleep and relaxing. Old Montreal is a beautiful place and has some amazing ambience.
