Holding, Tierney and Bellerin are back! | Arsenal 5-0 Nottingham Forest | Goals and highlights
Rob Holding and Hector Bellerin enjoyed fairytale returns to the first team with a goal and an assist respectively as we cruised into the fourth round of the Carabao Cup.
After the livewire Gabriel Martinelli opened the scoring in the first half, the stage was set for Holding to double our advantage after the restart.
It has been a long road back for the 24-year-old after he suffered a serious knee injury at Old Trafford back in December, but all the hours in the gym, all the graft in rehab had been leading to this moment – and he enjoyed every moment of it.
Bellerin also made his own first-team comeback, coming on to replace the excellent Kieran Tierney with 14 minutes remaining – and within 30 seconds he had an assist, setting up Joe Willock to score from close range
We also saw a fine debut from Tierney too, who was at the heart of everything we did well during an entertaining first half.
The Scotland international almost instantly had the crowd off their feet over on the left touchline by skipping past his marker with his first few touches of the game, and it was a sign of things to come.
The left-back looked rock solid at the back and a real threat going forward, sending in a string of threatening crosses that deserved to be finished off.
We finally broke the deadlock just after the half-hour mark when Reiss Nelson found Calum Chambers in the area. The defender’s first-time volleyed cross was expertly guided towards Martinelli to head into the top corner.
It was a moment to remember for the teenage Brazilian forward, and was just reward for an energetic showing through the middle.
Emile Smith Rowe also went close with a brave header from a Tierney cross, but had to be stretchered off after coming off worse from the challenge with Arijanet Muric.
That was the only black mark on an otherwise enjoyable evening – and we still had time to score two more. Nelson latched onto a drilled pass from Chambers and finished off a flowing move, before Martinelli fired a deflected effort past Muric from distance to seal our place in the next round.

Road Trip 2 - Part 4 RAF Driffield
#urbex #exploring #abandoned
RAF Driffield started out as raf eastburn in 1918 then became raf Driffield in 1935.
Stationed time frame was 1918-1920 and 1936-1977.
It was home to many of squadron over the years from usage also from the British army.
So this explore for us was very special. Same H blocks as most of stations we have visited and a very nice canteen with combined bars and chill areas witch isn’t in to bad of shape.
One building that was confusingly weird was a medical unit with a huge club room consisting off a stage, a DJ booth, children’s room possibly, and bar upstairs. I’m never 100 percent on all the facts of these Station explores most are guesses at what they where used for. I think this place is one of the best we have ever been to. Along with raf upwood the large rooms and windows give this place a fantastic feel when walking around.
On our visit we only walked through a holes in many fences and nothing was damaged by us or taken. We just love the RAF and these fantastic stations and there history.
Check out my many other station visits on my channel.

Hovis 'Bike' advert 1973 (Britain's favourite TV ad)
FROM:
HI-RES VODCAST:
In 1973, Hovis produced what became one of the all-time classic TV adverts, a delivery boy freewheeling down a cobbled northern hill.
In fact, the ad was shot on Gold Hill of Shaftesbury, Dorset. The director was (Sir) Ridley Scott. He later went on to direct Bladerunner, Alien, Thelma & Louise, and Gladiator.
The original boy on the bike, Carl Barlow, then 13, is now a 48-year-old fireman.
He said: It was pure fate that I got the part as the Hovis boy. I was down to the last three, and it turned out that one of the two boys couldn't ride a bike, and the other wouldn't cut his hair into the pudding bowl style - it was the Seventies after all. As the only boy who could ride a bike and would cut his hair, I got the part.
The ad is also famous for its soundtrack. In Britain at least, Dvorak's 'New World' symphony - rearranged for brass - says 'Hovis' and 'good, plain Northern values.'
Like many classic adverts of the 1970s, the Hovis 'Bike' advert was produced by iconic advertising agency Collett Dickenson Pearce & Partners.

Three years later he was sold on to Tottenham Hotspur for a £2.2 million fee. He won the FA Cup with Spurs in 1991, before being sold to Italian club Lazio for £5.5 million the following year. In July 1995, he was transferred to Rangers for £4.3 million, and helped the club to two league titles and two trophies. He returned to England in a £3.4 million move to Middlesbrough in March 1998. Listening is a more natural way of learning, when compared to reading. Written language only began at around 3200 BC, but spoken language has existed long ago.
Learning by listening is a great way to:
- increases imagination and understanding
- improves your listening skills
- improves your own spoken accent
- learn while on the move
- reduce eye strain
Now learn the vast amount of general knowledge available on Wikipedia through audio (audio article). You could even learn subconsciously by playing the audio while you are sleeping! The Rainbow Audiobook by D. H. Lawrence | Audiobook with subtitles | Part 1
Briefly appearing in 1915, then banned and taken out of circulation for its adult treatment of sexuality, Lawrence's visionary novel The Rainbow attempts to situate the lives of three generations of the Brangwen family within the continuous social change marking the Victorian transformation of Britain. Farmer Tom and his Polish wife Lydia, whose peaceful rural existence re-enacts the potent myths of Genesis; artisan Will and the matriarch Anna, who go to live among the industrial and mining communities so rapidly sprung up around Nottingham; finally the restless Ursula who, moving to the city, seeks sexual and emotional fulfilment with the Polish-descended Skrebensky - the three couples are not merely illustrative of the changing times, but allow the author to study in depth the conflict between the outer 'social' selves of those individuals and what he curiously calls the 'inhuman' essential being, the 'is-ness' at the core of their psychical life.
Lawrence evokes this dark, unconscious 'vital core' through a language of breathtaking poetic beauty; a rhythmic incantatory prose which listeners to this recording will find perfectly rendered by Tony Foster, in all its nuances. Like Paul Morel, the hero of the earlier Sons and Lovers, Ursula survives her losses to face a future of uncertain but radiant hope: She saw in the rainbow the earth's new architecture, the old, brittle corruption of houses and factories swept away, the world built up in a living fabric of Truth, fitting to the over-arching heaven.
