Mega Road Development Project from Gampaha 8-11-09
A massive Road Development Project gets underway from the Gampaha District.
It is being handled at the behest of the President and the guidance of Senior Presidential Advisor and Parliamentarian Basil Rajapaksa. Accordingly, 345 roads in the Gampaha District will be developed under the Jathika Saviya Gama Neguma programme. The expenditure to be incurred will be in the region of 3.5 billion rupees. The Ran Arana programme is due to be completed within a year. Its launching took place under the patronage of Minister Lasantha Alagiyawanna.
