OSLO FREE WALKING TOUR | Oslo City Hall | Things to do in Oslo, Norway
Looking for things to do in Oslo, Norway? There's no better way to get an introduction to a city that to do a free walking tour (or view vlogs about free walking tours)!
Today, I decided to do the Oslo Free Walking Tour in the morning.
You can do the Free Walking Tour Oslo in either English or Spanish. The English tours happen twice a day - 10am and 1pm daily.
It starts at Oslo Central Station. We made our way to the Oslo Promenade and Oslo Opera House before hitting up the old town. Oslo has three city halls, and we visited them all. The tour ended at the Oslo Parliament Building, next to the Grand Hotel.
Although an indoor visit to the Radhuset is not part of the Free Walking Tour in Oslo, you simply have to go inside. It's free, and fabulous!
Radhuset feels like walking into an art gallery. There are so many great murals that show you the daily lives of Norwegians throughout history. You'll also see some great interior design. Don't forget to check out the jewel of the city hall, the Munch Room.

Hipster Oslo Walking Tour of Oslo
Imagine a river, surrounded by old industrial buildings and parklands. Walking down the street in a colorful residential area you stumble across a giant chandelier, around the corner hides old wooden houses from the 1800s and facades covered in street art. This is Hipster Oslo, also known as Grünerløkka.
As if that wasn’t enough the area is home to one of Norway’s most famous artists, none other than Edvard Munch. Feel the artistic vibrations in the air and prepare for a cultural injection!
Oslo Must Sees Walking Tour
Channel your inner artist and allow us to sculpt your first impression of Oslo as we make our way through the inner city. We’ll unveil the Akershus Fortress, display the Oslo City Hall and expose the Royal Palace. With our stories we’ll draw up a sketch of the history of Oslo.
Arriving at the Vigeland Park, we’ll share the enchanting story of how one man alone could build what today is the world’s largest sculpture park. As we reach the pride and joy of the Vigeland park, The Monolith, we guarantee a jaw drop.
36 Hours in Oslo, Norway + Ferry to Copenhagen | cari cakes in Norway VLOG
Hi guys! I didn't express it well in the video because everything was happening so quickly but wow, I fell in love with Oslo. Weirdly enough it reminded me of my short trip to Montreal a few years ago, which I also loved :) It really felt like a quiet neighborhood everywhere we went and everyone was so kind. I freaking LOVE being greeted with hei hei hahah! I'd really love to go back and explore more than just Oslo but the short time I spent there was amazing! Thank you for having me Oslo! You're beautiful!

HOW EXPENSIVE IS OSLO? | Oslo Travel Tips | Oslo Food Market Mathallen and Vippa
How expensive is Oslo? I will show you some Oslo Travel Tips.
We will start off with showing you the typical prices inside Narvesen, the most common convenience store that you can find everywhere in Oslo (and Norway). Here, you can get snacks, drinks, and other necessities. Don't miss the coffee and pastry combo, as well as the hotdog for cheap.
Today we are exploring the rich Oslo Food culture. After the Prince Lunchbar for breakfast, we made our way to Vippa for the famous Oslo Street Food scene. By the way, don't come here on Mondays - it's the only day that they are closed!
Another great Oslo Food Market to check out is the Mathallen Oslo. It is one of the best food market in Europe, and it has so many different varieties of food. Starting off with Norwegian cuisine, to French pastries and Portuguese delicacies, Italian, Thai and Japanese cuisine.
I settled on the Noodle bowl place, where you can pick your own ingredients and sauce for your own dish. It satisfied my Asian food cravings! ????
What about tipping in Norway? We found out that, although it is not part of Norwegian culture, your server will expect you to tip 10-20%. It is typically added at the credit card machine upon payment, and you will have to enter the amount of money in the machine.
In Oslo, I used the Oslo Pass to get into many museums for free and get discounts around the city. You can find out more about the Oslo Pass right here:

AWESOME NORWAY ROAD TRIP ROUTE TO FJORDS FROM BERGEN
An awesome Norway road trip route to fjords from Bergen to the fjords and making our way to Bygstad where we based ourselves at Villa Amot, the perfect spot to go on day missions to the fjords and other sights in the area. This was a great Norway roadtrip route and in the beginning of the video we show you the route. Whether you're taking the Norway road trip to fjords 2016, 2017 or 2018 it doesn't really matter as I don't think that much will change! Lots take awesome Norway road trips from Oslo but if you want to see the fjords it makes much more sense to start your Norway road trip to fjords from Bergen!
This Norway series was filmed with help of my friend Greg who is linked below and in conjunction my friends at NordicTB on the #FjordSecrets trip.

What To Expect As A Foreign Student In Oslo?
Get a brief introduction to life as a student in Oslo, Norway. Learn more about housing, language, friends, work, activities and what makes Oslo an ideal city for students. Through the experience of Carol from Zimbabwe, Tereca from Canada, Victor from Spain and Julia from Germany - you get real and authentic firsthand impressions & facts. We visit a typical student flat, a busy, local café optimal for making new friends, campus at one of many schools / universities in Oslo – OsloMet and finally one of the most scenic spots, in the middle of the city. What To Expect As A Foreign Student In Oslo?
This is a commissioned video, our first, for Osloregionen. One of their missions are to attract foreign students and talent to the capital of Norway and its surrounding municipals.
This is also a teaser for a more comprehensive yourway2norway (your travel guide to Norway and to understand the Norwegian culture) video with the same participants, more info / advices and probably with a bit more cringe and satire in it.
Even though this is a commissioned video, we have no problem publishing it on our channel. This is due to the fantastic people we met making this – the stars of this video. And a very cool & nice client who gave us free reins to solve the mission our way. Thanks a lot to all of you guys!
*** ABOUT yourway2norway (your travel guide to Norway and to understand the Norwegian culture) ***
yourway2norway (your travel guide to Norway and to understand the Norwegian culture) is a different travel channel. We combine education with humor and entertainment. It’s an authentic inside guide to real life in Norway. We highlight small and large themes, cultural characteristics and Norwegian phenomena. All the stuff you won’t find in a tourist brochure.
The content is perfect for people who travel to Norway as tourists, visit friends and family in Norway, study in Norway or work in Norway. It is ideal for anyone with Norwegian roots and DNA. It is also interesting for anyone who wants to learn more about other cultures and people. And for all of you looking for some smile and laughter.
The guys behind are; Ronald Sagatun – a enthusiastic and sarcastic Sami Latino with a Norwegian passport. Throughout his life he has tried to find out what it means to be Norwegian. Now he shares his hilarious experiences. Mads is a grumpy Norwegian dude, providing the channel authenticity and the typical Norwegian way of viewing the world. We always try to be funny, self-deprecating, human and, when it´s necessary; sincere and passionate.

16 days of Nordic Travel ||Day 8 in Oslo - Norway ||
We left Helsinki around 7 am with Norwegian flight to Oslo, Norway.
Oslo is a really snow white beautiful city with many attractions!
My favorite was climbing the Oslo Opera House and overlooking the sculpture in the sea from opera house's rooftop at night!
It was a slippery experience!

We Missed our Flight. Went to Oslo, Norway Instead.
The idea was to arrive in Helsinki, Finland, to pick up our motorhome, but we missed our connecting flight due to a delay, and ended up spending a day in Oslo, the capital of Norway. We visited the Kon Tiki Museum and Vigeland Park, among other things. This is part one of our Nordic Road Trip.
