Taxing Nation: Is the Supply Side Revolution Over?
Tax Revolution Institute's Dan Johnson speaks on a panel alongside Steve Forbes and other economics experts and advocates to discuss supply side economics and the future of America's tax system.

Founder of People Against the NDAA, which became the largest civil liberties organization in the nation taking on Federal overreach at a local level. Founder of the Solutions Institute, an activist training center, with a focus on solving impossible political problems, helping volunteer advocacy groups, and raising awareness of sensitive issues. Hundreds of speaking engagements across the political spectrum as well as published in several news sources. Dan is continuously interviewed on television, radio and print as it is clear thzt Liberty has no better ally. Now the Executive Director of the Tax Revolution Institute he is the driving force behind TRI's promise to fix the Tax System for all and, to hold the IRS to a standard of integrity and transparency.
Steve Forbes is the editor-in-chief of Forbes Magazine and a co-ambassador of FreedomFest. He writes editorials for each issue of Forbes under the heading of “Fact and Comment.” A widely respected economic prognosticator, he is the only writer to have won the highly prestigious Crystal Owl Award four times. The prize was formerly given by U.S. Steel Corporation to the financial journalist whose economic forecasts for the coming year proved most accurate. In both 1996 and 2000, Steve campaigned vigorously for the Republican nomination for the Presidency. Key to his platform were a flat tax, medical savings accounts, a new Social Security system for working Americans, parental choice of schools for their children, term limits and a strong national defense. Steve continues to energetically promote this agenda. His new book, Reviving America: How Repealing Obamacare, Replacing the Tax Code and Reforming The Fed will Restore Hope and Prosperity co-authored by Elizabeth Ames (McGraw-Hill Professional) came out in December.
Jenny Beth Martin was a former executive with The Home Depot and Mead Paper Company when she heard Rick Santelli’s famous “Stop the spending!” rant in 2009. In February 2009, following a series of massive expansions of the United States government by Congress under Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama, Jenny Beth and several other concerned citizens formed the beginnings of the modern Tea Party movement. Under her leadership, Tea Party Patriots has grown to be the largest and most effective national umbrella group within the Tea Party movement, using their network to reach millions of Americans every week with education and updates about fiscal responsibility, free market principles, and Constitutionally limited government. Jenny Beth Martin is a frequent guest on almost every major television, radio, print, and online news outlet in America. In 2010 Time Magazine listed her as one of the 100 Most Influential Leaders in the World. Her first book, Tea Party Patriots: The Second American Revoltuion was published in 2012.
Grover Norquist is president of Americans for Tax Reform (ATR), a taxpayer advocacy group he founded in 1985 at President Reagan’s request. ATR works to limit the size and cost of government and opposes higher taxes at the federal, state, and local levels. It supports tax reform that moves toward taxing consumed income, one time at one rate. Norquist chairs the Washington, DC - based “Wednesday Meeting,” a weekly gathering of more than 150 elected officials, political activists, and movement leaders. The meeting started in 1993 and takes place in ATR's conference room. There are now 60 similar center-right meetings in 48 states. Norquist holds a Masters of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, both from Harvard University. He lives in Washington, DC with his wife, Samah, and his daughters, Grace and Giselle.

????Big BIG THANK YOUS to EVERYONE who contributed!????
Now we reveal the rest of the story -- the last run of the old Subaru, the visit to Findlay Subaru of St. George to pick up the new Forester and once again ambush Dave, their general manager. They gave us an AWESOME deal! If you've read this far, please write, Thank you Dave! in the comments!

_Our Mission_
Founded in 1997 in Cedar City Utah, we are a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to wildlife rescue and rehabilitation, wildlife and environmental education, and the development of the Cedar Canyon Nature Park.
_Rescue, Rehabilitate and Release_
The Southwest Wildlife Foundation of Utah (SWF) cares for more than 100 sick, injured and orphaned native wildlife annually. Restoring them to health and returning them to the wild is our primary goal, but for those that cannot be released due to disabilities, the Cedar Canyon Nature Park (CCNP) can provide them with a permanent home in a natural setting while enhancing our visitors educational experience at the park.
_Informing, Educating and Inspiring_
The SWF provides over 100 educational programs reaching over 30,000 people annually. We believe providing educational outreach programs to schools, scout groups and community events, with focus on children and families, will make the greatest impact in preserving our wildlife, the environment, our public lands and our resources for future generations to enjoy.
_Martin Tyner_
Since age twelve, with a bird on his arm, Martin has captivated audiences sharing his knowledge and experience of his wildlife friends.
At age nineteen, Martin was hired as curator of birds of prey at Busch Gardens, CA. He also worked in the movie and television industry training big cats, elephants, primates, sea mammals and raptors.
“One of my greatest childhood fantasies was the desire to create a personal friendship with a wild eagle. I found myself with a love and fascination for these powerful creatures.”
Martin Tyner is a federally licensed falconer, eagle falconer, wildlife rehabilitator, wildlife propagator, and wildlife and environmental educator.
He has been providing wildlife and environmental programs throughout the western United States, to schools, scouts and community groups for over fifty years.
“Grandpa believed in a very simple philosophy; that a person should get up every morning and do good. Doing good means that you do well for others and doing well means that you do good for yourself. There is nothing wrong with doing well, but Grandpa always believed in doing good.”
Martin's book, Healer of Angels, reflects back on his life: from a young boy terrified of birds to becoming the first man in North America licensed to train a wild golden eagle in the ancient art of falconry.
Through a heartwarming collection of true stories he describes his challenging transformation from a shy dyslexic teenager, to the founder and CEO of the Southwest Wildlife Foundation.
_Cedar Canyon Nature Park_
The CCNP is 22.6 acres of beautiful canyon property donated by Pacificorp, in Cedar City, Utah. We are in the process of developing a permanent wildlife rescue facility and Nature Park for the children of Utah. Sitting on the transition point between the Colorado Plateau and the Great Basin, the CCNP’s mission is focused on fostering appreciation, knowledge and wise stewardship of the Colorado Plateau and Great Basin environments, which include wildlife, botany, geology, history, and native culture.
'78 Dodge Fireball for Sale. Runs great!
I bought this RV last September for $2,400, put another $1000 in to the engine (tune up, rebuilt carburetor, new battery) and tires. I took it up camping near Tahoe, and had a blast. Comfortably slept me plus 4 friends. I need to get rid of it because I am sick of getting street parking tickets. It is perfect for someone who has a private driveway they can park it in, or who wants to live in it as their primary home.
Pros:
It runs great, I have had no problems mechanically since I got it tuned up and the carburetor rebuilt. Has very low original miles (I believe 68,000), and according to the previous owner and my mechanic, has been well maintained. The ceiling A/C unit works, the stove and oven work, LOTS of storage space and sleeping space (2 bunk beds, one full size cab over, and one twin bed that converts into seating in the dining room). Septic and sewage works fine. Not too long (I think 24), yet surprisingly roomy inside, so parking and maneuvering is pretty easy. Even for the engine parts it is a great deal.
Cons:
It was born in 1978, so the RV section of the vehicle has some wear (see video, seats are a little torn). My RV got broken into, so the side door to the RV is damaged by a crow bar, and does not lock properly (will need a padlock or screws). One of the rear side windows was broken, but I believe my insurance can fix that. The deep cycle battery was stolen (although the engine battery is still there and is new and works great). There is a small leak in one of the water tanks. When the water tank is full, it leaks very slowly and makes a damp spot in the living room carpet. I think it would a super easy fix, but I do not know how to do that. The refrigerator does not work (or at least I do not know how to make it work), but I think could be sold for some money.
Overall it is a GREAT deal for the price. It will sell super fast. I beat out a lot of competition when I bought it for 2400, and that was before I got the engine tuned up. It is perfect for road trips, and burning man! One of my friends lived in it too, and it is pretty comfortable. I will upload a video soon.
Please e-mail me or call me Corey (415 328 0127) if you are interested. It is priced to sell fast. Please no low-ballers. The price is firm and I only want to sell it to serious people. Thank you!
Laredo's 1954 Flood
by Gabriela A. Treviño
Laredo Morning Times
June 29 will mark 61 years since the start of one of the most devastating floods in Laredo’s history.
With the recent summer showers and sparse flooding the city has recently experienced, several Laredoans recall a time when flooding was truly a grave issue.
In his 1986 publication, “Laredo: A Pictorial History,” local historian and TAMIU professor, Jerry Thompson wrote that the flood waters of 1954 reached 61.35 feet, more than 10 feet higher than the 1932 flood, which also caused serious damage.
“…The 1954 flood was the largest in ninety-one years and the second largest according to archaeological evidence in at least three hundred years,” Thompson wrote.

We’ve talked before about the bizarre Hollywood phenomenon of Twin Films – essentially films with near identical premises inexplicably released around the same time – and all of the machinations that can lead to them existing. Today, rather than focusing on an industry wide trend, we’re going to discuss a specific example of something similar- the bizarre tale of the time two comic artists based in the UK and US respectively somehow both created Dennis the Menace at almost the same time, with the first editions of each published on the exact same day, despite neither one knowing anything about what the other was doing.

A SNAKE fought, wrestled and then ate a crocodile whole following a dramatic five-hour long battle. The incident was captured on camera by author Tiffany Corlis at Lake Moondarra in Queensland, Australia. The snake - thought to be python measuring around 10ft - constricted the croc to death, before dragging it to shore and eating it whole in front of a shocked crowd of onlookers.

Woody (voice of Tom Hanks) has always been confident about his place in the world, and that his priority is taking care of his kid, whether that’s Andy or Bonnie. So when Bonnie’s beloved new craft-project-turned-toy, Forky (voice of Tony Hale), declares himself as “trash” and not a toy, Woody takes it upon himself to show Forky why he should embrace being a toy. But when Bonnie takes the whole gang on her family’s road trip excursion, Woody ends up on an unexpected detour that includes a reunion with his long-lost friend Bo Peep (voice of Annie Potts). After years of being on her own, Bo’s adventurous spirit and life on the road belie her delicate porcelain exterior. As Woody and Bo realize they’re worlds apart when it comes to life as a toy, they soon come to find that’s the least of their worries. Directed by Josh Cooley (“Riley’s First Date?”), and produced by Mark Nielsen (associate producer “Inside Out”) and Jonas Rivera (“Inside Out,” “Up”), Disney•Pixar’s “Toy Story 4” ventures to U.S. theaters on June 21, 2019.

How to Visit Philadelphia with an RV: Liberty, Cheesesteaks, and Rocky - Traveling Robert
We find an unusual RV Park in the middle of Philadelphia. We see many of the obligatory historic sites including a bucket list visit to the Independence Hall. We join long time viewer Rob, from South Philly, and he shows us his home town from his own perspective, including eating some authentic Philly cheesesteak. We also follow in Rocky Balboa's footsteps, literally and climb the steps of the Art Museum. We finally get a panoramic view of the city from the Liberty One Observation Deck.
