Welcome to Oakhurst – a village, neighborhood and community located in the southwest area of the City of Decatur, Georgia in DeKalb County. Oakhurst is bounded by Candler Drive on the East; Pharr Rd on the South; Second Avenue on the West and College Avenue on the North (map).
The Oakhurst community is vibrant, diverse and home to a variety of local businesses, public parks, a community garden, a wonderful school system and a strong community lead by a history of volunteerism through the Oakhurst Neighborhood Association (ONA).
The ONA has provided this site as a local volunteer based community organization. The ONA produces community events throughout the year that raise money to benefit Oakhurst Village projects as well as local non-profit organizations serving the Oakhurst community.
