I really enjoyed this trip and the slides and swimming itself but very unfortunately I lost all the footage at the pool because of some technical issues very sorry hope the pictures came out all right. And also very sorry this is coming up very let because we came back late and the rendering took some time because I did another video for you so I hope that recovers the time that it goes up :)

It's a pretty big redemption fest to be honest. Gamblers, 2p machines and ticket-based redemption. The only new machines they have are redemption-based. No video games at all. They have air hockey and bowling at the back.

Many of the arcades in the UK (Mainly seaside arcades) are called Amusement Arcades. They are typically packed with redemption-based machines with very few video games (As video games simply do not make money). I have placed the word Amusements in the title for these types of places as they are not true Video Game Arcades, but deserve some sort of mention. As gambling is legal in the UK, they tend to include fruit machines (aka slot machines) and various other things money-making games, so video games really take a back seat in places like these. They also really hate filming, I'm not sure why because it's free advertising, unless dodgy things are taking place lol

Video Game Arcade Tours - Penny Slot Arcade (Arreton Barns, Newport, Isle of Wight)
So this isn't exactly a 'video game' arcade, but I thought it deserved an honorable mention! We always pass this arcade during Walk The Wight (A free Isle of Wight marathon in the UK!). Mostly everything is mechanical and it reminds me of a smaller version of Musée Mécanique in San Francisco or Novelty Automation in London! It even has some of the same machines!
