The Obong Spring is a fresh water spring which emanates near the beach. Because of steady out-pour of water, a pool of freshwater meets the sea especially when the tide is high and the water become brackish.

Ito po yung PART TWO ng vLOG last September nung nagpunta kami sa SAMBOAN (SOUTHERN PART OF CEBU) para sa Fiesta at binisita narin nami yung mga kamag.anak nila Lionel...
Ang sarap talaga ng buhay sa probinsya noh???
Ang Samboan pala 150 kilometers South of Cebu City. Ito ay merong 15 BARANGAYS. According to my research SAMBOAN is an abbreviation of the word SINAMBOANG which was a ritual dance performed by the people of the village.
You will also see HERITAGE BUILDINGS here like the ST. MICHAEL ARCHANGEL CHURCH which is one of the oldest Spanish-built churches in Cebu, with its facade made of coral stone, THE WATCH TOWER, another Spanish structure made up of blocks of coral stone,
THE ST. JACOB's LADDER (ESCALA DE JACOBE), it is a flight of 147 stone steps built in 1878, which leads to the old watchtower on a plateau 65 meters (213ft) above town. The SAMBOAN WWII VOLUNTEERS MONUMENT, this was built in honor of many volunteers who fought for the freedom of the Philippines.
THE SAN SEBASTIAN STONE WALLS, were the old stone structures near SAN SEBASTIAN PARISH CHURCH that maybe why the barangay is populary known as BATO (meaning stone)...
and the attractive destinations like beautiful white sand beaches and of course the various WATERFALLS.
