Stockholm Walks: Observatoriekullen to Stockholm Östra (architecture and street life)
If you’re into architecture (specially early 1900), window shopping or people watching this is the walk for you. Street scenery to original music from Vasastan in Stockholm for treadmill, relaxing or just for fun. From the hill where Stockholm observatorium lies we start out with a great view that includes Stockholms famous city library from 1928. The walk continues through Vasastan and Östermalm on streets not usually walked by tourists but busy with locals. Hagagatan, Surbrunnsgatan (discovering the newly opened cat cafe among other things) Roslagsgatan and Odengatan with it’s busy street life, then turning towards Lärkstan via Bragegatan and Friggegatan. The walk ends at the train station Stockholm Östra, and passes through the station café that hasn’t changed interiors since the opening in 1932.

Stockholm Walks: Dalagatan to Adolf Fredrik in spring
Friday afternoon in April. Walk Odengatan, Dalagatan, Wallingatan and Sveavägen with the locals. The walk starts off by Classic café Ritorno (1930’s), and takes you by long time favourite bars such as Tennstopet and Wasahof, past the building were Astrid Lindgren lived (Pippi Longstocking and many more), the Scala Theatre and finally towards and past the beautiful church Adolf Fredrik, where prime minister Olof Palme (shot in 1986) is buried.

A Walk Down Drottninggatan Street, Stockholm, Sweden
Drottninggatan (Queen Street) in Stockholm, Sweden, is a major pedestrian street. It stretches north from the bridge Riksbron at Norrström, in the district of Norrmalm, to Observatorielunden in the district of Vasastaden.
Forming a parallel street to Vasagatan and Sveavägen, Drottninggatan is intersected by (south to north) Fredsgatan, Jakobsgatan, Herkulesgatan, Vattugatan, Klarabergsgatan, Mäster Samuelsgatan, Bryggargatan, Gamla Brogatan, Kungsgatan, Apelbergsgatan, Olof Palmes Gata, Barnhusgatan, Adolf Fredriks Kyrkogata, Wallingatan, Kammakargatan, Tegnérgatan, Rådmansgatan, Kungstensgatan and Observatoriegatan.
The major part of the street is car-free and lined with numerous stores and shops, one of the largest being the Åhléns City department store. During summer, the street is often crowded with tourists.

Once we travelled on a sea ferry by Baltic Sea and visited 4 famous Northern capitals. Our journey was started from the Norther Russian Capital - Saint Petersburg.
Second stop of our ferry was in the fabulous city – Stockholm, which is a Sweden capital.
Stockholm is the capital of Sweden and the most populous city in the Nordic countries. The city stretches across fourteen islands where Lake Mälaren flows into the Baltic Sea. Just outside the city and along the coast is the island chain of the Stockholm archipelago.
Arriving in the morning on the ferry to the capital of Sweden, we had no planned route of our walk, so we decided to go to the center of Stockholm. We reached the city center by a water taxi that runs directly from the Stockholm ferry terminal.
We decided to start our excursion from the historical center of the city - Gamla stan.
Gamla stan until 1980 officially Staden mellan broarna (The Town between the Bridges), is the old town of Stockholm.
Having walked a little through the narrow streets of the old Stockholm, whose history has begun in the XIII century, we continued our walk through the Drottninggatan - the main pedestrian and shopping street of the Swedish capital.
It stretches north from the bridge Riksbron at Norrström, in the district of Norrmalm, to Observatorielunden in the district of Vasastaden.
I could not resist from shopping, walking among countless Drottninggatan stores and in one of them I bought a collection of singles of legendary Swedish group ABBA.
Our walk in Stockholm was ended in a park of astronomical observatory, where Drottninggatan street ends.
The Stockholm Observatory is an astronomical observatory and institution in Stockholm, Sweden, founded in the 18th century and today part of Stockholm University.
It was a beautiful day in Stockholm, in wonderful Scandinavian capital of Sweden.
The visit of Stockholm was very interesting and cognitive.

Rålambshovsparken (a veces llamado RALIS ) es un parque en el barrio Marieberg en Kungsholmen en Estocolmo . En el oeste, bordeando el parque de la Universidad de Estocolmo Campus Konradsberg (antiguo Instituto de Educación de Estocolmo ), en el este contra Norrmälarstrand y paseo Norr Mälarstrand y en el sur se extiende a Riddarfjärden . Bronce occidental parte norte (llamado el puente de Little West ) que atraviesa el parque. En el suroeste se encuentra Smedsuddsbadet y Archivo Nacional . El nombre proviene de la antigua propiedad Ralambshovs granja .

Various places in Stockholm, Sweden - everything shot in June 2019 - except from the view from the City Hall Tower at the end, which is from my visit up there last Summer. I never uploaded it then, so I thought it was a nice ending. :) Locations: Norr Mälarstrand, Observatorielunden, S:t Eriksbron, Vasaparken, Drottninggatan, Sveavägen & Kungsgatan, a courtyard/park on Rålambsvägen, the skatepark in Rålambshovsparken, Kungsholmstorg, Torsgatan & Norra Tornen (the Northern Towers) with Innovationen (the Innovation) and the progress of Helix across the street, celebration of Midsummer Eve in Rålambshovsparken, and at the end - the view from the City Hall Tower.
Olika platser i Stockholm - allt filmat i juni 2019, utom utsikten från Stadshustornet som är från förra sommaren och aldrig laddades upp då. Tog med det också för jag tyckte det var en bra avslutning. :)
