Egy kis film a régi Óbudáról, a 11-es, 7-es villamosokról, de feltűnik a 33-as, és a 66-os villamos is. Mivel némafilm volt, a zenét én tettem rá. Jó szórakozást. Nekem az volt.

(English version) The video shows the CONCERTO measures in Budapest, Obuda. In the Obuda district, two-thirds of its residents live in apartment blocks. The so-called village house with more than 3000 residents has been the centre of retrofitting measures that focus on saving energy. The residents have been involved right from the start. Roof insulation that is 10 centimetres thick and cladding used to insulate the exterior have cut energy consumption by 50%.

Roman Aquincum | Hungary #5
A visit to the excavated remains of the Roman settlement of Aquincum on the river Danube in Óbuda. Aquincum first served as a military base on the Limes, and a Roman legion was stationed here by the year 89 AD. Aquincum developed into a local trading centre and the civil city gradually emerged next to the military settlement. It became the major Roman centre in modern-day Hungary and was made the capital of the province of Lower Pannonia at the start of the second century AD. The museum at the site tells about Budapest's Roman history and has many excavated objects on display.

Obuda Adventures
Our day trip to the 3rd District of Budapest - Óbuda. We go to Óbuda Island - home of the Sziget Festival each August and we also visit the main Town Square. We wanted to visit the old shipyards, but not everything worked out the way we planned... We end up at one of our favourite restaurants - Kiosk Budapest.
