BEST theme park in HONG KONG | OCEAN PARK VLOG 2019
If you’re ever in Hong Kong, one of the top things I’d recommend for you to do is to go visit Ocean Park, one of the best theme parks in Hong Kong. I know, I know, you’ve probably got your eye on Disneyland Hong Kong… but the thing is, if you had to pick one between the two, I’d definitely recommend you choose Ocean Park.
You can go to Disneyland in other countries but Ocean Park really is quite unique. its a marine-life theme park with focus on animals, theme park rides and cool shows. AND it doesn't really matter how old you are, you'd still enjoy it.
Oh one thing to note though, try to bring your own food & drinks to Ocean Park because the food there is pricey.
I filmed this Ocean Park Vlog when i went to Hong Kong in Feb 2019 - hope you like it !
Tickets are $480 for adults (12 years +) and $240HKD for kids (3-11years).
Extract from the Hong Kong Tourism Board:
Opened in 1977, Ocean Park Hong Kong is a marine-life theme park featuring animals, thrill rides and shows. It is located on the southern side of Hong Kong Island, with an area of more than 915,000 square metres. The two major attractions areas, the Waterfront and the Summit, are connected by the Cable Car and Ocean Express funicular train.

ABOUT ME:
I'm a millennial who quit my corporate job in banking & finance in December 2018 to live life the way I want, everyday. I knew something wasn’t right when days all started to blur together and nothing stood out.
I want to see different places. I want to experience new things. I want to meet new people. I want to do something for the first time again.
This is the beginning of my journey to doing that, and to figuring out how I can generate income that will allow me to live life my way, every day.

BEST theme park in HONG KONG | OCEAN PARK VLOG 2019 (香港海洋公園)
香港海洋公園,是一座集海陸動物展覽、機動遊戲、大型表演的主題公園。不論大人還是小童,總有一款適合你。熱愛動物與自然,或喜歡挑戰機動遊戲的遊人,更加不可錯過!
Ocean Park Hong Kong
Ocean Park Hong Kong is a wonderful and unique theme park which encompasses an amusement park, a marine life park, a zoo and an oceanarium. As such, it has something to offer to everyone in the family.
Ocean Park is divided into two areas: The Waterfront and The Summit, which are linked by a Cable Car system and an Ocean Express funicular train system.
My day in Ocean Park was most enjoyable as I could catch the antics of playful sea lions, enjoyed some thrilling rides, gawked in wonder at the amazing ocean denizens residing in the Grand Aquarium, and watched a wonderful dolphin show - all in the same day!
Ocean Park is a theme park like no other and I would encourage you to spend a wonderful day there when you are in Hong Kong.

Killer Whales' Performance in one of Ocean Parks in China
Hi, everyone, I'm Hermione Wang from Shanghai China. Welcome to my channel.
In this video, I will show you the Killer Whales’ performance in Shanghai Haichang Ocean Park in Shanghai, China.
As is known to all, being captive and trained to show their performance for a long time, killer whales will become depressed, or irritable, and may even aggressive, which betrays their nature.
It is said the 4 killer whales come from sea of Okhotsk in Russia.
I personally disagree with this kind of performance, which I felt quite unpleasantly shocked when I saw the show.
I wonder if there’s any action can be taken to solve this issue right now.
Thanks for watching! My channel will show you a series of video clips mainly about the typical Chinese people, events, places, food, etc. So if you are interested in these topics, please subscribe my channel. Bye~~
OCEAN PARK HONG KONG PART 1 (ULTRA HD 4K) | FULL TOUR | 香港海洋公園
#oceanpark #oceanparkhk #oceanparkhongkong
Welcome to Ocean Park Hong Kong Part 1, full tour. In chinese it is called 香港海洋公園. Our video is shot in ultra hd 4k, crystal clear quality. In this walking video we show you the best highlights this park has to offer.
'Ocean Park Hong Kong (Chinese: 香港海洋公園), commonly known as Ocean Park, is a marine mammal park, oceanarium, animal theme park and amusement park situated in Wong Chuk Hang and Nam Long Shan in the Southern District of Hong Kong. It is the second largest theme park in Hong Kong, following Hong Kong Disneyland.[2] It is also the second oldest theme park in Hong Kong, after the now-defunct Lai Chi Kok Amusement Park which closed in 31 March 1997, 4 months before the 1997 handover.
Opened in 1977 by the then Governor of Hong Kong Sir Murray MacLehose, Ocean Park became popular but by 2005 was unprofitable and widely expected to lose out to the new Hong Kong Disneyland.[3][4][5] However, the Park responded with a HK$5.5 billion development plan that saw it expand to over 80 attractions and rides, and steadily grow visitor numbers to 7.6 million in 2014, making it the world's 13th most visited theme park, and one of the largest theme parks in Asia.[6][7] Half of all visitors now come from mainland China, in growth that parallels rising mainland tourist visitor levels to Hong Kong over the same period.[8]
Covering an area of 91.5 hectares (226 acres), the park is separated by a large mountain into two areas, The Summit (Headland) and The Waterfront (Lowland). These areas can be reached by a 1.5 kilometres (0.93 mi) cable car system, or the Ocean Express funicular railway. To ascend the Headland comprises several hills, visitors can use Hong Kong's second longest outdoor escalator.[9] The theme park has various attractions and rides, including four roller coasters, and also animal exhibits with different themes, such as a giant panda habitat, rainforest and polar displays, as well as an aquarium featuring the world's largest aquarium dome. Between 1979 and 1997, Ocean Park was most famous for its signature killer whale, Miss Hoi Wai.
As well as being an amusement park, Ocean Park Hong Kong aims to merge entertainment and education, including conservation advocacy. However it has been criticised by wildlife advocates for practices including the wild capture of large sea animals, such as dolphins and orca, and the presentation of shows featuring such animals performing.[10][11][12] Ocean Park is also renowned for holding the largest Halloween events in Asia.[13][14]
Attractions
Ocean Park now comprises two main attraction areas: the Waterfront and the Summit, subdivided into eight attraction zones: Amazing Asian Animals, Aqua City, Whiskers Harbour, Marine World, Polar Adventure, Adventure Land, Thrill Mountain and the Rainforest.

How to get to Ocean Park Hong Kong:
Ocean Park Hong Kong Vacation 2019
We had so much fun in Hong Kong Ocean Park. The rides were so intense. We started with the Abyss which reminded me of the Zombieland movie. The whole time I was riding it I thought if Emma Stone and Abigail Breslin could do it why can't I. Then, we went to ride the roller coaster. Then the ferris wheel. Then the Hair Raising roller coaster and a lot more. We also got to see some sea animals in the grand aquarium. It's great to see some of these animals in person.
