Kish is a 91.5-square-kilometer resort island in Bandar Lengeh County, Hormozgān Province off the southern coast of Iran in the Persian Gulf. Owing to its free trade zone status, the island is touted as a consumer's paradise, with numerous malls, shopping centers, tourist attractions, and resort hotels.

Dubai Expat Exit in Kish Island 2013 part 1
Back in 2008 Most of the expat that needs to change status visa should exit in OMAN or IRAn. In 2013 I had documented my exit in Kish Island Iran but its not my first time though. Everyday more Dubai expat arrived as well as departed (depends, the longer you stay the more people I you met) basta iba iba ang makikilala mo depende sa darating hahahah... Moving on, well don't expect that hotel accommodation will be the same as you had booked in the usual hotel (hhmm) I may say in one big room there would be atleast 10 people with 10 bed, pero minsan may 6 bed na dikit-dikit at kapag may bagong dating doon sila sa lapag. In this video I will show you the historical places in Kish Island FYI: Venus Hotel nag offer sila ng City Tour about 10-15Dhs lang (ndi kna matandaan hahaha basta kay ng budget un).. Iran Rial 10,000 = 1 Dhs so kapag gusto mong maka experience ng million sa KISH ka pumunta hahhaah.

Kish Island has been mentioned in history variously as Kamtina, Arakia (Ancient Greek: Αρακία), Arakata, and Ghiss. Kish Island's strategic geographic location served as a way-station and link for the ancient Assyrian and Elamite civilizations when their primitive sailboats navigated from Susa through the Karun River into the Persian Gulf along the southern coastline, passing Kish, Qeshm, and Hormoz islands. When these civilizations vanished, Kish Island's advantageous position was lost and for a period it was subjected to turmoil and the tyranny of local potentates and other vendors. With the establishment of the Achaemenid dynasty, the Persian Gulf was profoundly affected. Kish was, in particular, economically and politically linked with the civilization of the Medes, Persians when they were at the height of their power.
In the shadow of the empire, the islands in the Gulf became prosperous, navigation in the Persian Gulf was expanded, and better vessels were used to carry passengers and goods. Navigational aids, including lighthouses, were set up to facilitate navigation in the Persian Gulf.
In 325 BC, Alexander the Great commissioned Nearchus to set off on an expeditionary voyage to the Sea of Oman and the Persian Gulf. Nearchus's writings on Arakata contain the first-known mention of Kish Island in antiquity.[1] When Marco Polo visited the Imperial court in China, he commented on the Emperor's wife's pearls; he was told that they were from Kish.[2]
In the 1970s, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, the last Shah of Iran, turned the island into a luxury resort for the international elite and a tourism hotspot, complete with a Grand Casino (renamed as the Shayan International Hotel after the Iranian Revolution). Kish Airport was designed to handle the Concorde. After the Islamic Revolution, Kish Island became a duty-free shopping center.
Kish Island is the last known location of Robert Levinson, a former F.B.I. agent turned private investigator who disappeared there on 9 March 2007.[4]

Festivals in Kish are fantastic and we always attend the drawings during festivals. Coming to Kish malls and participating in drawings is relaxing and pushes our tiredness away. The prizes are so cool too and one time, I was the winner of a drawing.

Kish island off Iran is one of the Middle East's most popular tourist destinations.
It's a free trade zone and draws about one and a half million visitors a year to its shopping centres, resort hotels, beaches and festivals.

Kish Island is a hot destination during the summer months - not only because temperatures can soar to 35 degrees celsius, but because its free trade status and liberal atmosphere has a lot to offer foreign tourists.

This summer I stayed in Iran and decided to vlog my experience.
Kish Island is located in southern coast of Iran in the Persian Gulf, and is home to 40,000 residents and attracts nearly 1 million visitors annually.

Waterpark lets people cool off from summer heat

A new waterpark in the Iranian capital is offering waterslides, waves, thrills and spills as summer temperatures soar.
STORYLINE
It is a thrilling ride down the slides at Tehran's most modern aqua park.
Opark is a single-sex indoor waterpark facility enjoyed by men and women on alternate days, complying with the Islamic laws of Iran.
A 19.5-metre free-fall slide with a nearly 90-degree drop and a huge funnel water slide with a diameter of 18.5 metres are the some of the features of the park.
Other activities park users can enjoy are an artificial beach with beach beds, a wave pool, a 'lazy river' water feature, hot tubs and a labyrinth of enclosed tube slides, half-pipe slides and aqua loops.
Children have a designated area overlooked by a giant clown statue which pours a gush of water down on unsuspecting heads.
Hamid Bayat Torki is a university professor who has brought his son to the aqua park.
He has been to waterparks in Turkey and UAE and says Opark is on par with them.
We have many problems in our country and places such as this waterpark help people find some peace of mind. Its admission price may not be reasonable for everyone at the moment, but coming here is still hundreds of times cheaper than travelling to other countries to enjoy an aqua park.
Visitor, Mohammad Tavakoli says Opark is a great place to cool down.
The weather is unbearably hot these days and nothing beats some cool water like this in this hot weather.
WhiteWater, a Canadian water park designer and operator, was originally commissioned to implement the Opark project.
WhiteWater has had major roles in building other aqua parks in the Middle East such as the Wild Wady Waterpark and the Adventure Waterpark also known as Atlantis - both in Dubai and the Yas Waterworld in Abu Dhabi.
However WhiteWater decided to cut off relations with Tehran over its support for the Syrian regime, its contested nuclear programme and a deteriorating human rights situation.
This took its toll on the implementation of Opark - obtaining visas for Canadian technicians became a serious issue and the import of equipment and installations was bogged down.
Construction came to a stop until Iranian technicians picked up from where the Canadians had left off.
Opark is a privately owned business that belongs to two families who have provided the funding.
A lack of resorts and recreational centres in the country sends some Iranian travellers to neighbouring countries every year.
Executive of Opark waterpark Mohammad Ali Hosseinzadeh, whose family is a shareholder of the business, says the venue provides a great alternative to going on holiday.
The slogan of our summer campaign is 'Let's go abroad in the heart of Tehran'. We came up with this line because of the current situation of the country when we are facing the outflow of our capitals and foreign currency reserves. We wanted to tell people that there is a place like this to have fun in the middle of Tehran. A place that lives up to world-class standards.
The entrance fee to the park is 850,000 Rials (20 USD) for a whole day which many residents say is high.
As the country suffers from long-term drought and water scarcity, Ali Hosseinzadeh says wise consumption of water resources is a priority.
He claims the waterpark's water filtration system ensures that the least amount of water is wasted in the cycle and if any water has to be drained, it will be used to water local trees.

Travel to kish for kish airshow from start exhibition untill finished that .
In this video you can see The md83 of zagross airlines and departed from isfahan with the beautiful scenery en-route and landing in the kish island airport .
After landing at kish airport we saw the exhibition salon and we took to the ramp to see airshow . It was so fantastic for formation flight of russian knight airshow which inhabitanted in kish island .
