Abandoned Odeon Cinema! | (Left for Over a Decade)
► THE EXPLORE: So I've always wanted to get into a cinema, and there has been an abandoned one close to where I live for a while, and finally, we managed to get it in. This is what happened.
► SITE HISTORY: Opened on the 14th December 1936 with it's opening film being Chick. It was one of the largest and most expensive cinemas designed by Andrew Mather for Odeon.
Consisting of 4 screens in total, including a massive 631 seater screen upstairs. Today only 2 of the screens are accessible, with one flooded with waste water and the 631 seater no longer with any kind of way up to it after the original staircase was removed when the cinema's original entrance was renovated into a local shop.
In 2007 the freehold on the building was sold by Odeon and the final performances were held on 10th January 2008.

Exploring Westbourne's Club Grand Bingo Hall | Built in 1922
► THE EXPLORE: Today's explore is an abandoned location of a Cinema/Bingo hall that was opened in 1922 and closed in 2018.
Currently, it's up for lease and we were allowed special limited access to the location as the letting agent had viewings that day.
Thanks to Matt from Abandoned Seekers for setting this up.

Directions To Oyster Quay, Port Solent, Portsmouth PO6 4TQ
An edited 2 minute video showing how to find Oyster Quay when coming Eastbound along the M27. i.e. get off at junction 12 and turn left twice to come back along the A27.
If coming from the East, DO NOT FOLLOW these directions. Instead it is necessary to exit the A27 as soon as it turns into the M27 which is one junction east of junction 12. There is a brown sign to Port Solent and it is sign posted to A3 Cosham. Head to the A27 driving west. Go past the Porsche dealer. Then watch this video from 20 seconds onwards.
Portsmouth Views: John Wyckoff
Views of Portsmouth have changed, with new construction from one end to the other. Residents' views of the city have also changed. This is one of them. A seventh-generation Portsmouth resident, Jon Wyckoff bought his first home in the city's South End for $7,000, when he was a bass player in the rock band The Devil's Own.
