The ODEON THEATRE, Stamford Road, off Kingsland Road, DALSTON London N.1. Architects Andrew Mather with Keith P. Roberts. Opened Monday 1st May 1939 with 2064 seats.
The ODEON THEATRE, Dickson Road, BLACKPOOL, Lancashire. Opened Saturday 6th May 1939 with 3088 seats at a cost of £82,500. Architects Harry Weedon and W. Calder Robinson.
The ODEON THEATRE, Croydon Road, Elmers End Green, ELMERS END, Beckenham, Kent. Opened Saturday 26th August 1939. Architect Keith P. Roberts (for Anrew Mather office) who provided 1518 seats.

Alabaré's flagship event, The BIG Sleep welcomes those who want to take a stand against homelessness. By sleeping out, participants will raise awareness of those forced to call the streets home and also raise much needed funds.
So come armed with cardboard, warm clothes, a sleeping bag or two, and a huge heart. You will be challenged to sleep under the stars at Salisbury Cathedral Cloisters for one night. An impressive and humbling venue that gives a real sense of how blessed we are to be able to go back to a warm and dry home afterwards.
Everyone who signs up pledges to raise a minimum of £100 (£50 for anyone aged 14-18) for Alabaré's work with the most vulnerable. Anyone who raises £150 (£100 if a young people) or more (excluding gift aid) will win two tickets to the Odeon Cinema (excludes London and IMax)
We know many of the rough sleepers Alabaré helps understand the priceless bond between themselves and their canine companions, when life on the streets is their reality, so we are welcoming 20 well behaved dogs to join us once again this year.
Anyone bringing a dog must read our Rules For Well Behaved Dog Owners below before signing up.

Dorchester is the county town of Dorset. The town has a rich heritage dating back thousands of years. On the towns heritage open day visitors had the opportunity to find out more about the town, it's heritage and take part in some fun activities.

FAQs
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
All participants must be 14 plus at the time of the event. Anyone aged under 18 must bring a signed consent form to enable them to participate. Please email fundraising@alabare.co.uk if you need either a parent consent form or a photograph permission form. Everyone under 18 must have both signed by their parent or guardian. Anyone under 18 must come with an adult who has agreed to be responsible for their welfare throughout the event.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
There are a number of car parks around Salisbury. Please do not use George Mall car park as you may not be able to access it the next morning as early as you would like. There is NO parking within the Cathedral Close.

Can I bring my sponsorship money with me on the night?
Yes you can. If you have set up a Just Giving or Give.Net page then the money you have raised will come directly to Alabaré and you don't need to do anything more. If you pay your money to us via BACS or PayPal please let us know by email.
Do I have to give my full contact details?
Yes - this is vital for us to be able to comply with Health and Safety requirements.
Prize Information and Terms and Conditions for The Big Sleep Sleep Cathedral 2018
Thank you for agreeing to raise sponsorship funds for Alabaré while you do The BIG Sleep at Salisbury Cathedral. Every penny you raise can help us help the most vulnerable in our society.
This year, any adult who raises above £150 for Alabaré and any young person (14-17) who raises £100 or above, will recieve two tickets to the Odeon Cinema.
Only one set of tickets will be awarded per person once they have exceeded the targets set.
All money raised must be with Alabaré by 1st March 2020 in order to qualify for a prize.
If you fundraise using Give.net or Just Giving then the money will come directly to Alabaré.

ODEON Cinemas have joined SHOWCASE Cinemas and independents to show the new DIRECTOR'S CUT feature length of Secret Spitfires to celebrate RAF100 on JULY 1st. This special version contains many new pieces of information along with new characters who were involved in this incredible story of ordinary people doing extraordinary things in the war.
It looks at what amazing feats these people achieved hidden in places such as Southampton, Salisbury, Reading, Trowbridge, Hursley Park along with 65 other towns and villages which supported them scattered throughout the country.
